Courtland Sutton profiled as the heir to Demaryius Thomas at the start of the year. Thomas’ recent trade to Houston has thrust him into that role early. Sutton will take on a starting role in the Denver offense in what should be a shootout with Houston. His projected target share makes him a slam-dunk value in Week 9.

Courtland Sutton posted 250 completed air yards and three separate 40-yard splash plays so far this season. Zooming out, Sutton offers excellent size-adjusted athleticism, evidenced by upper percentile Agility Score and Catch Radius. On the production side, his College Dominator Rating, College Yards Per Reception, and Breakout Age checked in above the 65th percentile. 

Post-Demaryius Thomas trade, Keke Coutee still finds himself in a favorable rest-of-season position for fantasy production for a Texans team that runs 3-wide receivers sets on 54.5-percent of snaps. While Vyncint Smith has one NFL reception to his name in limited action, Coutee commanded an astounding 15 targets in his first NFL game, and his field stretching skill set most closely resembles Fuller’s abilities.

Anthony Miller is another prime value target for week 8 on FanDuel DFS. Miller is a prototypical slot receiver and was a dominant college producer out of Memphis. The Jets have struggled covering the slot thus far, setting Miller up for a good matchup to capitalize on after career-high marks in routes and targets in week 7.

Martavis Bryant personifies explosive upside, evidenced by a 90th-percentile or better Catch Radius, Speed Score and SPARQ-x Score. Bryant has been a downfield playmaker since entering the NFL, and this season, his Yards Per Reception (YPR) again ranks in the top-20.

Michael Gallup’s emergence gives the Cowboys a legitimate No. 1 receiver who boasts an impressive advanced metrics prospect profile. Pairing him with Amari Cooper will not diminish Gallup’s fantasy value, it will likely strengthen it.
