Week 10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups

Welcome to the Week 10 Waiver Wire. In this article, Wolf Trelles-Heard highlights the players you should prioritize on waivers as we head into Week 10. The targets are listed in shallow, standard, and deeper league options. However, there will (typically) be the most options under the standard column, as that will be the most popular range of targets.

Week 10 Shallow League Waiver Wire Targets

Note: This range will primarily apply to home leagues and those with shorter benches, with players available in at least 25% of leagues. Each player is listed with their current rostership percentage and a recommended FAAB bid range for a $100 budget. All values are in reference to four-point per passing touchdown leagues with PPR scoring unless otherwise noted.

Quarterback

Jaxson Dart, Giants (74% rostered) | $4-6

Most of his production last week came in garbage time, but that doesn’t really matter for fantasy  — the points count all the same. Jaxson Dart delivered his fourth QB1 performance since becoming the starter in a 34-24 loss to the 49ers. Going into Week 9, Dart was QB5 in fantasy points per drop back (0.69), and that number is going up after he dropped 27.2 fantasy points on Sunday.

In all, Dart threw for 191 yards and two touchdowns, while adding another 56 yards and a score on the ground. This marked the fourth time in six starts that Dart rushed for 50-plus yards in a game, and that mobility continues to buoy his floor. This week, he gets the Bears, who just gave up 470 passing yards to Joe Flacco. Stop letting this guy sit in the player pool, go get him and enjoy the elite QB1 production going forward.

Other options: Daniel Jones, Colts (66% rostered)

Running Back

Kyle Monangai, Bears (64% rostered) | $ 30-40

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned Kyle Monangai as a pick-up, saying he was the David Montgomery in this Bears offense. This week, the seventh-rounder had a golden opportunity in front of him with starter D’Andre Swift sidelined with a groin injury.

Boy, did this kid make the most of it. He was punishing yet spry when he needed to be, handling the workload for Chicago in their exhilarating 47-42 win over the Bengals. Sure, Cincinnati’s run defense is softer than a bag of marshmallows, but Monanagi looked great. He handled 26 totes for 176 yards and added 22 more through the air on three catches. Even if Swift returns this week, Monangai has absolutely earned a major role going forward. If you still have a large amount of FAAB, here’s your target.

Other options: RJ Harvey, Broncos (73% rostered), Trey Benson, Cardinals (57% rostered)

Wide Receiver

Troy Franklin, Broncos (51% rostered) | $4-6

What goes up must come down. After finishing Week 8 as the overall WR1 in fantasy, Franklin took a tumble in a tough matchup against the Texans last week. He managed just four grabs for 27 yards, though he did snag a beautiful two-point conversion late to help seal the game.

While the box score wasn’t impressive, it’s the usage that should excite fantasy managers. Franklin saw 10 more targets against Houston, giving him 28 over the past three games. In fact, he’s even out-targeting Courtland Sutton on the season now. Up next is a juicy matchup on Thursday Night Football against the Raiders, who entered Week 9 as a top-three team in fantasy points allowed to WRs. Earning nearly 10 targets a week as of late, Franklin is a strong play in three-WR leagues or a high-upside flex option.

Other Options: Josh Downs, Colts (62% rostered), Chris Godwin, Buccaneers (67% rostered), Romeo Doubs, Packers (56% rostered), Wan’Dale Robinson, Giants (61% rostered)

Tight End

Harold Fannin Jr., Browns (51% rostered) | $3-5

Go check and see if the Harold Fannin Jr. manager dropped him during the bye week. If so, scoop up what could be a potential league-winner down the stretch. When we last saw Fannin Jr., he posted an 18.4 fantasy outing, his best day as a pro.

The rookie is crushing in a bunch of advanced metrics: TE2 in juke rate (14.6%), TE4 in Dominator Rating (25.9%), and TE11 in yards per route run (1.66). Going into Week 9, he was seventh in targets at the position. Fannin Jr. is getting peppered by QB Dillon Gabriel when he’s on the field as this Cleveland passing attack continues to flow through the TE position. Pick him up if he’s available, as he should produce top-10 numbers going forward.

Other options: Hunter Henry, Patriots (62% rostered)

Week 10 Standard League Waiver Wire Targets

Note: This range will primarily apply to most leagues with standard benches, with players available in at least 50% of leagues. Each player is listed with their current rostership percentage and a recommended FAAB bid range for a $100 budget. All values are in reference to four-point per passing touchdown leagues with PPR scoring unless otherwise noted.

Quarterback

Sam Darnold, Seahawks (37% rostered) | $3-5

I’m guessing Sam Darnold dressed up as a dragon or Godzilla for Halloween, because he was spitting fire all game long during the final night of the holiday weekend. Darnold went full gunslinger mode, completing his first 17 passes and torching Washington’s defense in the process. He finished 21-of-24 for 330 yards and four touchdowns, with a lone interception the only blemish on an otherwise flawless night.

Darnold has now posted four top-10 QB finishes halfway through the season, including two top-three performances. He continues to play efficient football while delivering a few big touchdown strikes every week. If you’re in need of a QB, he’s worth a few FAAB dollars and should remain a serviceable low-end QB1 in this explosive Seattle offense.

Other options: Joe Flacco, Bengals (46% rostered), Aaron Rodgers, Steelers (42% rostered), J.J. McCarthy, Vikings (26% rostered)

Running Back

Devin Singletary, Giants (13% rostered) | $3-5

So much for Tyrone Tracy Jr. RB2 szn. It was Devin Singletary, not Tracy Jr., who led the Giants in carries. He handled eight for 43 yards, gaining a healthy 5.4 YPC. Singletary also chipped in two catches for eight yards. Meanwhile, Tracy Jr. amassed just 37 total yards on his eight touches.

If the work is going to be split in this manner, then I don’t think either option offers much ceiling. After all, New York’s offense runs through Dart and his ability to play backyard football. Singletary does have a favorable matchup this week vs. the Bears, who allow the 13th-most points to opposing RBs. Don’t spend much, but he’s in play this week if you need a desperation flex option.

Other options: Kareem Hunt, Chiefs (50% rostered), Tyler Allgeier, Falcons (37% rostered), Bhayshul Tuten, Jaguars (26% rostered)

Wide Receiver

Parker Washington, Jaguars (6% rostered) | $ 4-6

With Travis Hunter out, the third-year pro took full advantage of his opportunity and delivered an impressive performance. In the Jaguars’ wild 30-29 overtime win against the Raiders, Parker Washington was a frequent target for QB Trevor Lawrence, drawing nine looks and hauling in eight catches for 90 yards — all team highs on the afternoon.

Heading into Week 10, Washington might be the only healthy option left in the Jaguars’ passing game. Brian Thomas Jr. exited in Week 9 with an ankle injury and didn’t return, while Dyami Brown suffered a concussion. Jacksonville did trade for Jakobi Meyers, but it might take him a week or two to get fully acclimated. With 22 opportunities over his last two outings, Washington has put himself in the WR3 realm for full PPR formats. Don’t let your league mates get him; he’s well worth the add.

Other options: Tre Tucker, Raiders (43% rostered), Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers (46% rostered), Jayden Reed, Packers (37% rostered), Chimere Dike, Titans (30% rostered)

Tight End

Colston Loveland, Bears (25% rostered) | $5-7

It took two months, but NFL fans finally got to see what the No. 10 overall pick out of Michigan can do. Colston Loveland, take a bow. You earned it, kid. Coming into Week 9, Loveland had just 11 receptions for 118 yards. On Sunday, he matched that yardage in one afternoon, hauling in six passes for 118 yards and his first two career touchdowns. The second was a highlight-reel play — a deep ball down the seam where he bounced off a safety and outran the Bengals’ secondary for the game-clinching score.

His 29.8 PPR points ranked TE2 on the week, trailing only Brock Bowers‘ three-TD performance. Obviously, don’t expect this weekly: On a day when Chicago nearly scored 50, WR1 Rome Odunze didn’t even record a catch. Still, there’s real upside in Ben Johnson’s offense, and if you’re streaming the position, you could do a lot worse than Loveland.

Other options: Theo Johnson, Giants (29% rostered), Juwan Johnson, Saints (25% rostered), Dalton Schultz, Texans (25% rostered)

Week 10 Deep League Waiver Wire Targets

Note: This range will apply to leagues with deeper benches and more experienced managers, with players available in at least 75% of leagues. Each player is listed with their current rostership percentage and a recommended FAAB bid range for a $100 budget. All values are in reference to four-point per passing touchdown leagues with PPR scoring unless otherwise noted.

Quarterback

Marcus Mariota, Commanders (7% rostered) | $1-2

Poor Jayden Daniels; he just can’t seem to catch a break. For some reason, Daniels was still in the game late down 31 to the Seahawks, and he suffered a dislocated elbow. This is after coming back from a hamstring strain.

The job is now Mariota’s again, maybe for the rest of the season. He doesn’t possess Daniels’ upside — not many do — but his legs give him some utility if you need a QB to stream in deeper formats. Mariota gets the Lions and the Dolphins on deck, both of which could be high-scoring affairs. Grab him for a buck or two if you’re looking for a budget pickup at QB.

Other options: Geno Smith, Raiders (13% rostered), Jacoby Brissett, Cardinals (8% rostered) if he’s named the starter

Running Back

Blake Corum, Rams (10% rostered) | $2-4

Maybe it’s just the result of two blowout victories and nothing more. Or maybe Blake Corum‘s 26 touches over the last two games are actually a sign of what’s to come for the second-year pro. We aren’t seeing a changing of the guard, but Corum appears to be eating into Kyren Williams‘ workload … just a little bit.

Corum is averaging 4.7 YPC compared to Williams’ 4.4, and I think you can expect roughly 10 touches for him in positive game scripts. He also carries the contingent upside of being the next in line for this Los Angeles offense that’s firing on all cylinders. He’s a must-add for Williams managers and a smart stash for anyone looking to add high-upside handcuffs to their roster.

Other options: Isaiah Davis, Jets (19% rostered), Dylan Sampson, Browns (17% rostered), Devin Neal, Saints (6% rostered), Emari Demercado, Cardinals (5% rostered)

Wide Receiver

Alec Pierce, Colts (17% rostered) | $4-6

I usually shy away from high ADOT deep threats like Alex Pierce due to their volatility, but there’s no denying the usage he’s seen as of late. Pierce has been targeted 28 times over the last three games, catching 13 for 282 yards. He’s averaging 20.9 yards per reception so far this season, after leading the NFL in the category last year.

Pierce is still looking for his first score of the season, and you’d like to see a catch rate north of 50%. Still, he’s a fine option going forward, especially this week. Pierce gets the Falcons, who play the highest amount of single-high coverages in the league, according to FantasyPros. Grab him and plug him into your lineup if you’re chasing big-play potential. After all, he’s bound to find the end zone at some point.

Other options: Christian Watson, Packers (20% rostered), Malik Washington, Dolphins (19% rostered), DeMario Douglas, Patriots (11% rostered), Tory Horton, Seahawks (9% rostered)

Tight End

Luke Musgrave, Packers (1% rostered) | $2-4

Injuries suck. Tucker Kraft was having a breakout season and putting up top-five numbers in fantasy. Sadly, he’s now lost for the season after he tore his ACL on Sunday. That now opens the door for Luke Musgrave, who was drafted ahead of Kraft in 2023, a massive opportunity to showcase his talent.

Musgrave has some big shoes to fill. Kraft led all players in yards after catch in 2024 and was pacing to do so again this season.  Fortunately, Musgrave brings elite athletic traits to the table — his 115.8 athleticism score on PlayerProfiler ranks as the No. 18 TE all time. He’ll be a priority add for managers who lost Kraft and anyone else chasing the same upside. I don’t think you should expect elite production, but if the Packers use him in a similar role, then low-end TE1 numbers are definitely in play.

Other options: Mason Taylor, Jets (20% rostered), Isaiah Likely, Ravens (17% rostered), AJ Barner, Seahawks (17% rostered)
