In a highly competitive Week 16 match against the Patriots, the Bills played Devin Singletary on 98-percent of their offensive snaps. Conversely, Frank Gore played only two total snaps through the entire game. Singletary also touched the ball 16 times, while Gore failed to record a single touch. Already playing as Buffalo’s primary receiving back, Singletary appears to have asserted himself as Buffalo’s bell-cow back moving forward.

With LeSean McCoy late-scratched, Damien Williams stepped up to play 54.8-percent of Kansas City’s snaps in Week 17. Needing a win and a New England loss to change their position, it remains to be seen whether Kansas City will sit any players this week. However, with Spencer Ware also landing on injured reserve, the Chiefs appear comfortable with Williams leading this backfield moving forward.

Austin Ekeler needs 50 receiving yards to become the fourth running back to ever post 1,000 receiving yards in a season. His game versus the Chiefs could not set up more perfectly for him to get there. The 50 receiving yards he needs to reach 1,000 are a lock. Be on the lookout for 100 total yards and the all-time receiving yards record for a back.

Courtland Sutton faces Oakland this week and no one has been more friendly to opposing passing attacks than the Raiders. They are 32nd in the NFL in yards per attempt allowed at 7.9. Sutton has been targeted 10 times in each of the past two weeks and is top-10 with 24 deep targets. We’re getting one final explosion from him this week.

Julio Jones, a Hall-of-Fame caliber receiver that’s still been underrated, became the fastest player to reach 12,000 career receiving yards. He beat out Jerry Rice, which seems good. Jones has been a remarkably consistent player, and having Matt Ryan to play with over the years has certainly played a pivotal role in the pair’s success. Jones turns 31 in February and, approaching his tenth year in the league, has looked as good as ever. As long as his health and quarterback situation stay consistent, so too should he.

Kenyan Drake was a zero-RB target all summer long, but it was as an Arizona Cardinal that he led savvy fantasy players to a championship. After the four-TD performance in the semi-finals, Drake steamrolled the Seahawks for 166 yards and two scores, one being an untouched 80-yard line drive through the Seattle defense. He’s been fully reborn in Arizona’s up-tempo attack, while David Johnson has essentially been laid to rest. His stock is rising each passing week, so hold tight to the reborn asset.

With hopes of keeping the 49ers at bay and retaining the 1-seed in the NFC playoff race, Tyler Lockett and the Seahawks draw a great matchup against the Cardinals in Week 16. Even with a few bad games, his ceiling, as we saw against Carolina, makes him a weekly start regardless of the matchup. With that said, his date with Arizona’s Byron Murphy puts gamers in an extremely exploitable situation.

Philadelphia’s defense allows 261 passing yards and cedes just north of 35 pass attempts per game to opposing teams, which gives all Cowboys receivers an uptick in projection. Michael Gallup is the strongest play of the bunch. Over the last five games, he leads the receiving corps in targets, receptions, Air Yards, receiving yards and overall fantasy points. All of that aside, Gallup is set to face off against Ronald Darby, who’s been abysmal this season.

Mike Boone is sure to be among the chalkiest plays of the week. Likely heading into his first start of 2019, he couldn’t draw a better matchup. The Vikings a Packers team allowing +2.93 fantasy points above league average to opposing running backs this season (No. 8), and have allowed 24.3 fantasy points per game to running backs over the last five weeks.

After scoring 16.8 combined points in the previous two weeks, Kenyan Drake went off for 39.6 fantasy points against the Browns. It’s no secret that Drake has been the bellcow back for Arizona since joining them in Week 9 against the 49ers. It’s also no secret that the Seattle Seahawks aren’t the great defense they once were just a few years ago. Now we have a chance to see the two collide for a Week 16 divisional matchup.

Chris Carson was the chalk play of Week 15 and there is no reason not to go back to him again in Week 16. He draws another favorable matchup this week against against the Cardinals, who allow 27 Fantasy Points Per Game to running backs. He is a bit pricier on both platforms than he was last week, but he is well worth the cost of admission in another slam-dunk matchup.

Because he hasn’t posted a TE1 performance since Week 8, Austin Hooper has fallen to $4,400 (TE10) on DraftKings and $6,000 (TE11) on FanDuel. With Travis Kelce, George Kittle and Tyler Higbee off the main slate, Hooper becomes the most intriguing tight end play for Week 16. He should command a significant Target Share against the struggling Jaguars defense.

Simply too cheap for his price, Mike Gesicki averages 6.4 targets per game since Week 9. In that span, he has received at least five targets in each individual contest. The Dolphins also began using him near the end zone. With five red zone target in his last four games, he brings increased scoring equity this week against the Bengals.

Finally recording his first-ten target game of the season, Courtland Sutton continues his quiet breakout 2019 campaign. The Broncos next face a dismal Detroit Lions secondary that allows 288.6 passing yards per game, which ranks 31st in the NFL. With a strong target share and awesome matchup, he deserves a long looks in tournaments.

DeVante Parker will inspire more truther candidates in the future. John Ross, Auden Tate and Tyler Boyd are strong buys as Joe Burrow looms.

Marquise Brown’s production during his inaugural campaign signals the start of an alpha dog career. His week-to-week fluctuation coupled with an intimidating matchup against Cleveland is keeping his ownership low, but his elite playmaking ability means he can burn lock-down cornerbacks. He’ll get a chance to prove it when he lines up against Denzel Ward and his No. 3 ranked +62.7 Coverage Rating.

No stranger to the boom-or-bust life, Cooper Kupp’s 10.4 (No. 12 among qualified wide receivers) Weekly Volatility mark screams fantasy point-scoring oscillation. Kupp has recorded 14 or more DraftKings points and scored a touchdown in each of the past three games. A contrarian play to be sure, he faces stiff competition from the San Francisco secondary, which ranks No. 2 in pass defense DVOA.

In the only game Josh Jacobs missed this season, DeAndre Washington operated as a bell-cow, putting up 96 yards on 20 touches and finding the end zone. His passing game role was also impressive, catching six of seven targets. If his 9.7 percent (71st-percentile among qualified running backs) College Target Share is any indication, that role will continue this week against the Chargers.

Christian Kirk matched his season-low in routes and targets in Week 15. He’s seen five targets in only two other games this season. In the two games following those contests, he’s totaled 21 targets, 14 receptions, 217 yards and three scores. Seattle has given up big games in back to back weeks to Robert Woods and D.J. Moore, who play comparable roles to Kirk. Look for him to bounce back in this spot with a helicopter performance from Kyler Murray.
