Stash These Deep Dynasty Sleepers: Eric Rogers, Wendall Williams & Erik Swoope

by Kevin McHugh, January 18, 2017

With the dynasty offseason in full swing, now is a better time than ever to look at some deep dynasty sleepers at wide receiver and tight end who could see their opportunity increase in 2017 and beyond. These players possess the physical tools to succeed, although most of them are considered afterthoughts in the fantasy community.

Erik Swoope plays for an offensive coordinator who loves to utilize the tight ends, and when he had the opportunity in 2016, he delivered, posting a +44.0 Production Premium (No. 2) and a +29.0-percent Target Premium (No. 6) while averaging 13.5 yards per target (No. 5).

Every year, many players underperform for a variety of reasons. Advanced stats and metrics player profiles pinpoint ideal fantasy dynasty league football breakout candidate trade targets such as Devin Funchess and Leonte Carroo.

Devin Funchess’ upper percentile College Dominator Rating, Height-adjusted Speed Score, and Burst Score make him best comparable to Brandon Marshall on PlayerProfiler.com. His profile insists he is a 2017 breakout candidate, and he like most young wide receivers, he needed seasoning.

Josh Doctson: Buy-low in Fantasy Football Dynasty Leagues Before his Value Window Slams Shut

by Ben Cummins, January 13, 2017

It’s not often we get to celebrate an injury riddled season as a positive but that’s exactly what dynasty owners who don’t own Josh Doctson should be doing right now. Why? Because those injuries didn’t give him many opportunities to showcase his talents.

DeSean Jackson’s contract is voidable although Washington would be wise to bring him back as their deep threat for at least one more season. However, Pierre Garcon’s situation is a little bit different. His contract with Washington has expired and he is now an unrestricted free agent.

Sophomore Breakouts Candidates for Fantasy Football Dynasty Leagues: Derrick Henry & Malcolm Mitchell

by Tyler Strong, January 11, 2017

Dynasty talent-miners need not look any further for unearthed fantasy gems than the 2016 draft class. Injury, underdeveloped skills, and being buried alive on the depth chart all come to mind as reasons for a prolonged breakout at the NFL level (I’m looking at you, Davante Adams).

No running back in the NFL can match Henry’s size-adjusted burst and explosion. And most importantly, Henry translated his sublime athleticism into utter college dominance posting a 43.5-percent (92nd-percentile) College Dominator Rating at Alabama, one of the highest marks for a major conference running back in recent history.

January Dynasty Buy-Low: Stefon Diggs, Corey Coleman, and DeAndre Washington

by Andrew Persanyi, January 10, 2017

There was a profusion of players who were faced with adverse conditions in 2016. All of these players either possess the athletic tools to break out or have recently shown that they can produce at a high level. Assuming the external factors are more friendly to these players in the future, they will be key assets to trade for in dynasty leagues.

Compared to Jalen Richard, whose Speed Score, Agility Score, and Bench Press all fall below the 30th percentile, DeAndre Washington is without a doubt better-equipped to operate as the primary back and succeed in all phases in Oakland.

December Dynasty Buy-Low: Jerick McKinnon, DeAndre Hopkins, and Jordan Matthews

by Kevin McHugh, December 28, 2016

Jerick McKinnon and DeAndre Hopkins are a few players from our list of dynasty buy-lows who were betrayed by their situation in 2016. Advanced statistics and metrics show they could improve on their 2016 performances, so the time to buy is now.

DeAndre Hopkins has the most deceiving Catch Radius in the NFL. Though 9.99 is technically below the 50th-percentile, Hopkins’ innate strength at the catch point and Spiderman-like hands enhance his ability to secure wayward throws. Hopkins is simply too talented to assume that his 2016 statistics are the new norm.

Dreamers & Fantasy Streamers – DFS GPP & Deep Sleeper Plays for Week 16: Lockett Is The Key

by Eric McClung, December 24, 2016

The quintessential PlayerProfiler darling of 2016 is averaging 8.5 targets in Matt Barkley’s four starts. Josh Norman is set to tangle with Alshon Jeffery on the outside while Meredith continues to be Barkley’s safety valve receiver.

Last week, the Bears gave up 85 yards to Jared Cook. Assuming Vernon Davis is the starter, Davis is a terrific value in DFS for an ugly main slate for the tight end position.

Tomorrow’s Newspaper: Darius Jackson and Waiver Wire Prescience for Week 16 and Beyond

by Ray Marzarella, December 18, 2016

We offer four Sunday morning fantasy football pick-ups based on advanced stats & metrics profiles. Add Darius Jackson, Daniel Lasco, MyCole Pruitt and Jerell Adams in dynasty and/or keeper leagues.

Though it’s easy to dismiss Daniel Lasco because he’s a seventh-round pick, you can’t dismiss his athletic profile. Even if his NFL future is strictly as a third-down back, that’s likely to be a pretty valuable position in the high-octane Saints offense for at least a few more seasons with Drew Brees at the helm.

Dreamers & Fantasy Streamers – DFS GPP & Deep Sleeper Plays for Week 15: Get Kenneth Farrow or Die Trying

by Eric McClung, December 16, 2016

Yet in despite of this amazing opportunity in the fantasy playoffs, Farrow is still available in half of Yahoo and ESPN public leagues. Friends, this is a top-10 running back this week in the PlayerProfiler Weekly Player Rankings and a must play in DFS.

Jerick McKinnon is suddenly an interesting contrarian option this week against the Indianapolis Colts, who last week gave up more than 190 rushing yards to the Houston Texans four-man backfield.
