Matt Desrosiers aka Matty Kiwoom is a 35 years old fantasy guru who lives on the South Coast of Massachusetts. He is married with three daughters. Matty has been playing fantasy football for more than 12 years but has been “obsessed” for about 10 of those years. Matt likes to play in dynasty leagues, seasonal leagues, best ball leagues, and just about any format. In that time Matty has prided himself on enhancing his process year after year. As a result, Matty is a seasoned dynasty expert with years of experience under his belt. He uses that experience, along with his natural charisma, to help fantasy gamers around the globe improve their process and become better dynasty gamers!

Quick story, when he was younger he used to draft his action figures with his cousin. Matty and his cousin spent so much time strategizing over which action figures they should chose, that they often never arrived at the battle before it was time to go home.  So it is safe to say that he has been obsessed with fantasy drafting for most of his life. Matty brings that same passion to the PlayerProfiler Network! Matty Kiwoom is the host of The Game Plan. On the Game Plan, Matty shares his insights as a fantasy guru. He also co-hosts Trade Gods which is a show dedicated to Dynasty trades. He writes articles, creates TikToks, and will guest on other projects here at PlayerProfiler.

The Fantasy Supermarket: Players to Buy

by Matty Kiwoom
The Fantasy Supermarket is a place where fantasy team builders can find deals. Discounted players that are poised for some big games ahead or talent profiles that are exciting, but the stats haven’t been there. But sometimes the supermarket has a player that is just so good that they are worth buying even at a high price. DK Metcalf is that dude. Despite ranking as WR 18 overall, Metcalf is WR 25 on a points-per-game basis. That difference is enough to potentially open the slightest of buy windows. It will not lower the price, but that is okay because if he was a top-10 wide receiver he wouldn’t even be available.

The Fantasy Supermarket: Players to Buy

Despite ranking in the top ten at tight end, Pat Freiermuth has failed to record double-digit fantasy totals in three of the Steelers’ last four contests. There is a chance that the fantasy manager that rosters Freiermuth isn’t thrilled to move on. However, given the lack of boom weeks, the window to buy may have cracked open enough. If there is a chance to buy into the Pittsburgh tight end then teambuilders should make a move.

The Fantasy Supermarket: Players to Buy

The Denver Broncos have been a massive disappointment in both fantasy football and real-life football. Courtland Sutton started the season strong but has faded recently. The wide receiver was averaging 16.2 fantasy points per game over his first four games but has since averaged just seven points over his last three. So why would anyone want to buy into a player that is seemingly fading? Sutton’s recent struggles present a buy window, and we love buy windows at the Fantasy Supermarket.

ADP Smashers in 2022

by Matty Kiwoom
Drafting is paramount in seasonal leagues. Leagues can be lost messing up the early portion of the draft, but they are definitely won finding the players later that outperform their draft prices. Here are players that I would consider ADP Smashers in 2022 according to their Underdog ADP’s.

Let’s talk about some regression candidates for 2022 from each position in fantasy football. Not all regression is negative. Analytical metrics can call for positive regression aka the regression fantasy managers want to see from their players. Okay, I have mentioned the word ‘regression’ enough (just did it again). Bulletproof Values in Dynasty

by Matty Kiwoom
Avoiding players that ultimately fall short of expectations is key to succeeding in fantasy football. Busts are like landmines and fantasy managers must proceed with caution to avoid blowing up their team. Limiting the number of busters in a single season is important but identifying players with the sustainable long-term value is paramount in dynasty leagues.

Fantasy Football Shark Tank: Episode 3

Welcome to the latest and greatest arena where fantasy football takes thrive or die. A place where fantasy football propositions can gain validity or be thrown by the wayside. This is the second installment of the Fantasy Football Shark Tank. Allen Robinson, Russell Gage, and Chase Edmonds should all be targeted in 2022. Given their talents and their new situations it will. Despite not being their new teams’ primary pass catchers, Gage and Robinson will get fantastic quarterback upgrades. And Edmonds is looking like he will get the first crack at being the Dolphins number one running back. It’s good process rostering any of these three players in the 2022 season.

FFB Market Watch: Trade These Veterans Now!

by Matty Kiwoom
From 2020 to 2021 Ezekiel Elliot has seen a decline in Opportunity Share, Yards Created, and Dominator Rating. Zeke’s Opportunity Share fell more than 14-percentage points and for the first time in his entire career he finished outside the top 25 in Dominator Rating. The tailback is becoming less and less of a factor in the passing game. He may have been the RB7 overall but he was RB15 on a points per game basis. Get out now before the bottom completely falls off. Not only has Miles Sanders witnessed a downtick in opportunities, he was also less effective when he had the ball in his hands. He has fallen outside the top 30 running backs in PlayerProfiler’s Dynasty Rankings. This may be the last chance to move on from the Philly tailback. Will team builders get 100-percent return? Absolutely not, but in short order, his value may drop to zero. So get out now!

Welcome to the latest and greatest arena where fantasy football takes thrive or die. A place where fantasy football propositions can gain validity or be thrown by the wayside. This is the second installment of the Fantasy Football Shark Tank. Christian Watson has exceeded all expectations so far this draft season. He put himself on the map by killing the Senior Bowl. The wide receiver further elevated his stock value with his excellent performance at the NFL Combine. If the NFL continues the current trend of taking five or six wide receivers in round one, Watson could very well end up being one of them.

Fantasy Football Shark Tank: Episode 1

by Matty Kiwoom
Welcome to the latest and greatest arena where fantasy football takes thrive or die. A place where fantasy football propositions can gain validity or be thrown by the wayside. This is the first installment of the Fantasy Football Shark Tank. Despite Tony Pollard's fantastic efficiency metrics and Clyde Edwards-Helaire's lackluster production, the two backs' fantasy values have yet to fully flip. D.J. Moore is a stud. He is a wildly talented wide receiver that is as close to QB proof as there is. Just like Pollard, Moore needs his situation to improve to fully reach his potential. But unlike Pollard, he is a stable dynasty asset regardless of his team making any improvements.
