2026 nfl final mock draft 8-0

This is it, folks, the final NFL Mock Draft, the long- awaited 8.0, before we actually find out where these prospects are going. Unlike the others I’ve done, this mock will include trades, which makes it the most fun mock I’ve completed. A lot of the names in this version are familiar to the past versions, but they are going to different locations. How many linemen get drafted? What team trades back and still adds their next QB? Find out in this mock!

NFL Final Mock Draft 8.0

Live Thurs-Sat on the PP Main YouTube channel!

1. Las Vegas Raiders | Fernando Mendoza, Quarterback (Indiana)

Mendoza has the arm talent and pocket presence to be a legitimate franchise cornerstone, and Las Vegas desperately needs someone to build around. We have all known this would be the selection for months, so this isn’t all that exciting.

2. New York Jets | Arvell Reese, Linebacker (Ohio State)

New York goes defense early, and Reese is a tone-setter from day one. Aaron Glenn wants to add versatile players, and Arvell Reese is one of them. Once they canceled their 30-minute meeting with David Bailey, we knew this was the pick.

TRADE! DAL sends picks 12 & 20 to ARZ for pick 3 & 65

3. Dallas Cowboys (via ARZ) | David Bailey, EDGE (Texas Tech)

Jerry Jones moved up for the first time in a very long time to land Bailey. This is the type of elite pass rusher who changes the DNA of a defense, and Dallas needs a guy like Bailey since they shipped off Micah Parsons.

4. Tennessee Titans | Jeremiyah Love, Running Back (Notre Dame)

J-Love is the kind of ball carrier that opens up play-action for second-year quarterback Cam Ward. Running backs coming off the board inside the top 5 is rare, but Love might be the best player in the class.

5. New York Giants | Sonny Styles, Linebacker (Ohio State)

The son of Lorenzo Styles is carving out his own legacy, and the Giants are getting a versatile linebacker who can play in space and hold the edge. It has been a steady incline since the combine for Styles, and his final stop is fifth overall.

6. Cleveland Browns | Olaivavega Ioane, Offensive Guard (Penn State)

Cleveland NEEDS to improve in the trenches, and they make a bold choice and get the nastiest linemen in the class. Ioane is a blue-chip prospect who will anchor the Browns’ o-line immediately.

7. Washington Commanders | Carnell Tate, Wide Receiver (Ohio State)

Jayden Daniels needs weapons, and Tate is a smooth and gifted wideout who can boost the offense from day one. The Commanders are stacking offensive talent around their young QB, and this pick fits perfectly into that plan.

8. New Orleans Saints | Jordyn Tyson, Wide Receiver (Arizona State)

The Saints go receiver here and land a playmaker with that big-play juice. New Orleans has hitched their wagon to Tyler Shoug,h so it is time to start loading up on that side of the ball.

9. Kansas City Chiefs | Francis Mauigoa, Offensive Tackle (Miami, FL)

Mauigoa has the athleticism and skillset to develop into an elite lineman. Andy Reid has always been able to get a lot out of young linemen, and the rumor is that he has made it a point to shore up that line.

10. New York Giants (via CIN) | Caleb Downs, Safety (Ohio State)

New York doubles up on defense and walks away with arguably one of the best defenders in the class. Downs is a ball hawk with elite instincts and range, and he’s going to make highlights in the Giants’ secondary from week one.

11. Miami Dolphins | Spencer Fano, Offensive Line (Utah)

Miami’s been searching for a reliable tackle to round out their offensive line, and Fano is a technically polished blocker who fits what they want to do. New head coach, new quarterback, and building a good O-line is next.

 TRADE! ARZ sends picks 3 & 65 to DAL for picks 12 & 20

12. Arizona Cardinals (via DAL) | Rueben Bain Jr., EDGE (Miami, FL)

Arizona trades back and still lands a premium pass rusher. Bain is relentless off the edge with a motor that never stops, and he immediately upgrades a Cardinals defense that’s been starved for a true disruptor despite his T. rex arms.

13. Los Angeles Rams (via ATL) | Monroe Freeling, Offensive Tackle (Georgia)

Monroe Freeling is a high-upside tackle prospect with the tools to develop into a long-term starter. Sean McVay and the Rams are thinking big picture here with a quality investment up front.

14. Baltimore Ravens | Caleb Banks, Defensive Tackle (Florida)

Baltimore always loads up on the trenches, and Banks is exactly that…a load. He’s a powerful interior disruptor who can collapse the pocket and create chaos up the middle.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Mansoor Delane, Cornerback (LSU)

The Bucs need cornerback help, and the football gawds present them with a gift in the form of the best corner in the class. Delane is a future shutdown corner who will make an impact right away.

16. New York Jets (via IND) | Omar Cooper Jr., Wide Receiver (Indiana)

New York has not been secretive about its pursuit of Omar Cooper Jr. It will surprise some that he goes before Makai Lemon, but at 16, the Jets are in full “get your guy” mode.

17. Detroit Lions | Kadyn Proctor, Offensive Tackle (Alabama)

Speaking of get-your-guy mode, the Lions get their guy here. Kadyn Proctor is a mountain of a human, and if he can develop, pairing him with Penei Sewell will be scary.

18. Minnesota Vikings | Kenyon Sadiq, Tight End (Oregon)

Kevin O’Connell loves using tight ends as matchup weapons, and Sadiq is the kind of athletic mismatch who can punish linebackers in space and safeties over the middle. Yes, they have TJ Hockenson, but you can’t have enough weapons for either Kyler Murray or JJ McCarthy.

19. Carolina Panthers | Makai Lemon, Wide Receiver (USC)

Bryce Young needs more help, and Carolina has been doing their homework on wide receivers. Lemon is a quick-twitch playmaker who thrives after the catch, and the Panthers are slowly putting more pieces around their young signal-caller.

TRADE! ARZ sends picks 3 & 65 to DAL for picks 12 & 20

20. Arizona Cardinals (via DAL) | Ty Simpson, Quarterback (Alabama)

Arizona grabbed a pass rusher at 12, and now they add their quarterback of the future. Simpson has the arm and athleticism to grow into a starter, and the Cardinals are playing the long game here with an eye on the future under center.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers | Max Iheanachor, Offensive Tackle (Arizona State)

The Steelers are investing in the offensive line, and Iheanachor is raw, but he’s a physically gifted tackle with enormous upside. If Pittsburgh brings back Aaron Rodgers, they are going to want to keep Gramps upright.

TRADE! CHI sends picks 25 & 129 to LAC for pick 22

22. Chicago Bears (via LAC) | Dillon Thieneman, Safety (Oregon)

Chicago moves up to grab Thieneman, and the Bears are getting a player who has been rising on draft boards all draft cycle. He’s a tone-setter in the back end and gives Ben Johnson a reliable anchor in the secondary.

23. Philadelphia Eagles | Caleb Lomu, Offensive Tackle (Utah)

The Eagles love investing in big people, and Lomu is a physically imposing tackle with the frame and athleticism Philly covets. Offensive line depth is never a bad thing in the City of Brotherly Love.

24. Cleveland Browns (via JAX) | Blake Miller, Offensive Tackle (Clemson)

Cleveland goes back to the offensive line well, which tells you everything you need to know about where this franchise is in its rebuild. Miller is an experienced and reliable blocker who can contribute early and grow in their system.

TRADE! LAC sends pick 22 to CHI for picks 25 & 129

25. Los Angeles Chargers (via CHI) | Emmanuel Pregnon, Offensive Line (Oregon)

LA trades back and still lands a quality starter in Pregnon, who is one of the more technically sound guards in this class. Jim Harbaugh wants to hashtag establish it, and Pregnon is exactly the type of interior blocker who makes that possible.

26. Buffalo Bills | Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, Safety (Toledo)

Buffalo adds another layer to an already strong defense by grabbing McNeil-Warren. EMW is a fluid, instinctive safety who can do a little bit of everything.

27. San Francisco 49ers | Malachi Lawrence, EDGE (Central Florida)

Kyle Shanahan would love to get a tackle, but that well is dry, so his defense gets a jolt of energy with Lawrence. He brings relentless effort and pass-rush potential off the edge.

28. Houston Texans | Kayden McDonald, Defensive Tackle (Ohio State)

Houston is building a nasty defense. McDonald is a disruptive interior presence who can generate pressure on passing downs and clog running lanes.

29. Kansas City Chiefs (via LAR) | Jermod McCoy, Cornerback (Tennessee)

Kansas City’s secondary has been a topic of conversation, and Andy Reid addresses it by landing McCoy. He is getting healthy, but regardless, he is a competitive corner who can match up with almost anyone on the outside.

30. Miami Dolphins (via DEN) | T.J. Parker, EDGE (Clemson)

Miami gets another dynamic rusher to complement its defensive front. Parker is a long, high-energy, versatile edge defender who can win in multiple ways. The Dolphins’ defense is shaping up under new management.

31. New England Patriots | Jacob Rodriguez, Linebacker (Texas Tech)

New England goes old school and gets a linebacker that Mike Vrabel would love to hang out with at an Arizona resort. Rodriguez has the football IQ and toughness, and has proven he can ball out after his 2025 season.

TRADE! KC sends picks 40 & 109 to SEA for pick 32

32. Kansas City Chiefs (via SEA) | Keldric Faulk, EDGE (Auburn)

The Chiefs trade up to make their third first-round pick in 2026. Faulk is a high-upside edge prospect with the athleticism to develop into a difference maker. Kansas City will not go quietly into the night and is preparing to get back into the Super Bowl picture.

There you have it, a perfect 32 for 32 NFL mock, including a bunch of trades. Obviously, that last statement isn’t going to be true, but just like an unscratched lottery ticket, you can hold onto the dreams of winning. This draft cycle has been awesome to cover, and it has consisted of several wild roller coaster rides and a No. 1 pick that hasn’t shifted a millimeter.

You Paid for the Entire Seat, but You’ll Only. Need. The Edge.
