Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups Week 15

Welcome to the Week 15 Waiver Wire. In this article, Wolf Trelles-Heard highlights the players you should prioritize on waivers as we head into Week 15. The targets are broken down into shallow, standard, and deeper league options. However, there will (typically) be the most options under the standard column, as that will be the most popular range of targets.

Week 15 Shallow League Waiver Wire Targets

Note: This range will primarily apply to home leagues and those with shorter benches, with players available in at least 25% of leagues. Each player is listed with their current rostership percentage and a recommended FAAB bid range for a $100 budget. All values are in reference to four-point per passing touchdown leagues with PPR scoring unless otherwise noted.

Quarterback

Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (51% rostered) | $3-5

Don’t look now, but Sunshine might finally be clicking in Liam Coen’s offense. After a rough start to the season, Trevor Lawrence has been pretty locked in since Jacksonville’s Week 8 bye. He produced three straight QB1 outings heading into Week 14’s matchup against the Colts and kept the train rolling with another respectable showing on Sunday: 244 passing yards and two TDs in a win.

Lawrence is top 10 in expected fantasy points per game and is averaging 19.4 fantasy PPG over his last four contests — he’s cooking right now. This week, he draws the lowly Jets, who are middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks (16th). You can count on Lawrence to put up low-end QB1 numbers if you need help in the opening round of the fantasy playoffs.

Other options: C.J. Stroud, Texans (58%)

Running Back

Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots (67% rostered) | $1-3

Don’t sleep on Rhamondre Stevenson just because the Patriots were on bye. In his last game, he saw 15 touches and totaled 80 yards. Despite what fantasy managers want, Mike Vrabel is not going to let TreVeyon Henderson take over this backfield, which means Stevenson will stay plenty involved.

Take a look at his fantasy playoffs schedule: Bills, Ravens, and Jets. The Bills allow the sixth-most fantasy points to RBs, while the Jets allow the third-most. That’s a dream set up for any RB. If you need a steady contributor as your RB2 or flex, take a chance with Stevenson. He’s got a decent floor and shouldn’t sink you as long as he sees 12-15 opportunities.

Other options: Devin Neal, Saints (60%), Jordan Mason, Vikings (70%), Chuba Hubbard, Panthers (63%), Kimani Vidal, Chargers (70%), Kenneth Gainwell, Steelers (68%)

Wide Receiver

Christian Watson, Packers (50% rostered) | $15-20

Over the past four weeks, Christian Watson has been en fuego. Muy caliente. Whatever term for “on fire” you want to use, it fits. He has at least 18 PPR points in three of his last four games and is coming off his best performance of the season: four catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns in a victory over the Bears.

It’s a tough matchup this week against Denver, but he gets Chicago again in Week 16 and then Baltimore in the fantasy championship. Watson is in the top 10 in fantasy points per route run and per target, so do what you can to acquire him and enjoy deploying him against those bottom-10 pass defenses.

Other options: Chris Godwin, Buccaneers (73%), Jerry Jeudy, Browns (72%)

Tight End

Harold Fannin Jr., Browns (53% rostered) | $10-15

I feel like I’m beating a dead horse by recommending Harold Fannin Jr. every week, but you now see why. Hopefully, you listened and added him before his coming-out party against the Titans. If not, he’s about to be much harder to pluck off waivers. The rookie from Bowling Green went nuts in a surprisingly high-scoring affair, catching eight passes for 114 yards and a beautiful jump-ball TD to get the Browns within two points late in the game. He’s now Harold Man-nin Jr. after that performance.

Fannin’s 25.4 PPR points made him the TE1 overall for the week, securing his sixth weekly TE1 finish this season. He is elusive and slippery, with 20 forced missed tackles, and he reminds me of 2024 Jonnu Smith with what he’s doing out there. There aren’t many TEs available that possess this much upside. Do what you can to get him in your lineup and enjoy the ride with matchups against the Bears, Bills, and Steelers coming up.

Other options: Hunter Henry, Patriots (65%), Dalton Schultz, Texans (50%)

Week 15 Standard League Waiver Wire Targets

Note: This range will primarily apply to most leagues with standard benches, with players available in at least 50% of leagues. Each player is listed with their current rostership percentage and a recommended FAAB bid range for a $100 budget. All values are in reference to four-point per passing touchdown leagues with PPR scoring unless otherwise noted.

Quarterback

Aaron Rodgers, Steelers (26% rostered) | $2-3

Just when it looked like Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers were dead — in real life and fantasy — ol’ graybeard goes and delivers a vintage performance against the Ravens last week. The Steelers regained control of the AFC North behind Rodgers’ arm and legs. That’s right, Rodgers rushed for a score and threw for another while tossing for 284 yards. Apparently, Father Time took the week off.

It was Rodgers’ first QB1 game since Week 7 vs. the Bengals. If you are desperate, he could play a pivotal role in your lineup for the next two weeks with games against the Dolphins and Lions. If you’re a favorite in your playoff matchup and seeking a floor play, you could do worse than Rodgers. There’s still some magic left in those old bones, just don’t expect a top-five ceiling.

Other options: Sam Darnold, Seahawks (40%), Jacoby Brissett, Cardinals (37%)

Running Back

Blake Corum, Rams (35% rostered) | $ whatever you have left

Last week, I recommended picking up Blake Corum, thinking he’d get a dozen touches in a likely blowout vs. the Cardinals. Well, that’s precisely what happened: 12 carries for 128 yards and two scores. Over the past two weeks, Corum’s been as good as any RB on the ground, averaging an absurd 11 YPC with three scores in that span.

The second-year RB has gone from high-priority handcuff to high-upside RB3 or flex play over the course of the season with his electric play. Rams HC Sean McVay already said that he wants to split touches between Kyren Williams and Corum as they press towards the playoffs. He’s currently one of the most explosive players with the ball in his hands, and now he’s seeing an uptick in volume — spend whatever you have left to add Corum to your roster.

Other options: Chris Rodriguez Jr., Commanders (43%), Devin Singletary, Giants (33%), Zonovan Knight, Cardinals (40%), Tyler Allgeier, Falcons (37%),

Wide Receiver

Jayden Higgins, Texans (43% rostered) | $3-4

Sunday was a quiet night for rookie Jayden Higgins — three grabs on five targets for 34 yards — but that was expected in a defensive slugfest against the Chiefs. Prior to that, he was rolling and averaged 12.5 fantasy points between Weeks 10-13.

Higgins now gets some fantasy-friendly matchups against the Cardinals and Raiders, both teams that have struggled immensely to stop anyone as of late. The Raiders allow the fifth-most points to WRs, while the Cardinals sit middle of the pack (15th). Higgins has a chance to end his rookie campaign on a high note and should be a decent WR3/flex for anyone who needs a healthy body at the position.

Other options: Jayden Reed, Packers (43%)

Tight End

Theo Johnson, Giants (39% rostered) | $2-3

What a tasty matchup for Theo Johnson coming off his bye week. The second-year pro gets the Commanders, who give up the second-most fantasy points to TEs. Before the bye, Johnson saw eight targets but didn’t do much with them, catching three for just 29 scoreless yards. But he scored double-digits fantasy points in three of the four games prior and is top-10 among all TEs in air yards, deep targets, red zone targets, and TDs.

He should be easy to grab off waivers since the Giants were off last week. If you’re an underdog in your opening round matchup, I’d take a shot at Johnson — he could have a big game with Washington handing out points to TEs like Halloween candy.

Other options: Brenton Strange, Jaguars (46%), Colston Loveland, Bears (44%), Juwan Johnson, Saints (46%)

Week 15 Deep League Waiver Wire Targets

Note: This range will apply to leagues with deeper benches and more experienced managers, with players available in at least 75% of leagues. Each player is listed with their current rostership percentage and a recommended FAAB bid range for a $100 budget. All values are in reference to four-point per passing touchdown leagues with PPR scoring unless otherwise noted.

Quarterback

Justin Fields, Jets (24% rostered) | $2-3

“You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me.”Justin Fields to HC Aaron Glenn, probably. Keep an eye on Fields’ status going into Week 15; he was inactive last week due to knee soreness. That’s why it was Brady Cook who entered the game when Tyrod Taylor left early with a groin injury, not Fields.

We know what Fields is at this point. He’s not a good real-life QB, but his legs make him an extremely useful fantasy one. When we last saw him play, he was the overall QB5 in Week 11, throwing for 116 yards and rushing for 67, with one score through the air and one on the ground. On the season, Fields averages 0.62 fantasy points per dropback (QB6). If he starts this week, he has legitimate QB1 upside, and that makes him a must-add for the fantasy playoffs. Just know that it’s the Jets, so what can go wrong likely will go wrong.

Other options: Shedeur Sanders, Browns (11%), Tyler Shough, Saints (10%)

Running Back

Jaylen Wright, Dolphins (3% rostered) | $ 8-10

I was a staunch supporter of Jaylen Wright going into 2025. I thought he’d carve out a role and eat into De’Von Achane‘s workload some. Well … that didn’t happen. Wright suffered a knee injury in the preseason and just hadn’t done much this year — until last week.

When Achane went down with a rib injury last week against the Jets, Wright took advantage of the opportunity and produced his first RB1 finish as a pro. He carried the rock 24 times for 107 yards and one score, finally giving managers the breakout they’d long hoped for (myself included). If Achane can’t go this week, Wright becomes a plug-and-play RB2 against a poor Pittsburgh run defense.

Other options: Ollie Gordon II, Dolphins (9%), Sean Tucker, Buccaneers (17%)

Wide Receiver

Ryan Flournoy, Cowboys (1% rostered) | $1-2

Keep an eye on reports this week regarding CeeDee Lamb to see how he’s progressing through concussion protocol. If Lamb misses this week, managers in a pinch could turn to Ryan Flournoy. The second-year wide out erupted after Lamb left last week’s game against the Lions, catching nine of 13 targets for 115 yards and a TD.

It’s a difficult matchup against Minnesota’s secondary, but Flournoy would fill in as a starter and likely receive decent target volume in one of the league’s pass-happiest offenses. With defensive attention likely to shift towards George Pickens, Flournoy could flirt with WR3 numbers for managers who need some upside in deeper formats.

Other options: Devaughn Vele, Saints (24%), Luther Burden III, Bears (23%), Pat Bryant, Broncos (5%)

Tight End

Isaiah Likely, Ravens (19% rostered) | $3-5

Poor Isaiah Likely. That’s two weeks in a row he’s had a sure-fire TD snatched away. First, against the Bengals, he stretched out and lost the ball just inches from the goal line. Then, against the Steelers, he had a score taken off the board, even with two feet down and the ball in his hands — it would’ve been his second TD of the game. Still, he managed four catches on six targets for 25 yards and one TD.

He now has 12.5 fantasy points in back-to-back games and gets the Bengals again this week. They are the gift that keeps on giving to TEs, ranking dead last at fantasy points allowed to the position (by a wide margin). If you need help, go get Likely, who seems to be ahead of Mark Andrews in the pecking order now.

Other options: Mason Taylor, Jets (19%), AJ Barner, Seahawks (18%)
