Below, Justin Currie shared his 2025 rookie rankings with tiers following the 2025 NFL Draft.
The most fun time of the year for dynasty players is upon us—rookie draft season, baby! The 2025 NFL Draft is complete, and the time for landing spot speculation has passed. Now, it’s time to evaluate opportunities, draft capital, and scheme fit. To help put that into context, I took down my initial rookie rankings and placed each position into tiers based on landing spot, draft capital, and expected opportunity share.
Year-round dynasty players are licking their chops to get into rookie drafts, and this will help solidify some opinions. If you’re just tuning back into Dynasty for the first time since the Super Bowl, this will offer a crash course in who landed where and what it means.
Without further ado, here are my first super flex rankings for dynasty.
2025 Rookie Rankings with Tiers
Tier 1
Ashton Jeanty, Raiders- 6th pick RB1
The highest drafted running back since Saquon Barkley stands alone as an S-Tier prospect in an environment with no competition; the 2024 Heisman runner-up is the consensus 1.01.
Tier Break
Cam Ward, Titans 1st pick
Travis Hunter, Jaguars 2nd pick
Omarion Hampton, Chargers 22nd pick
Tetairoa McMillan, Panthers 8th pick
The 1st overall selection being ranked behind a running back may stand out considering it’s Superflex. Cam Ward has all the tools of a franchise QB but not the prolific rushing upside to make him an instant threat to the dual-threat signal callers at the position.
Tier Break
Quinshon Judkins, Browns, 36th overall
TreVeyon Henderson, Patriots 38th overall
R.J. Harvey, Broncos 60th overall
Matthew Golden, Packers 23rd overall
The Packers’ first-round selection, WR Matthew Golden, bumps him into this tier. Golden has a clear runway in terms of day 1 opportunity to shine for an offense that needs a “true number one” wideout, as Josh Jacobs said.
The Broncos’ selection of R.J. Harvey 60th overall is the bigger surprise here. At 24 years old, many questioned how highly he would be selected in the draft. Harvey profiled as an explosive runner, 2nd in breakaway run rate to only Ashton Jeanty.
Tier Break
Tyler Warren, Colts 14th overall
Colston Loveland, Bears 10th overall
Jaxson Dart, Giants 25th overall
Kaleb Johnson, Steelers 83rd overall
Both tight ends in this tier enter into situations with incredible draft capital and equivalent amounts of question marks about their ability to command targets for very different reasons. Kaleb Johnson steps into a role with the Steelers as an apparent replacement for Najee Harris, with more breakaway run ability.
Tier Break
Emeka Egbuka, Buccaneers 19th overall
Tre Harris, Chargers 56th overall
Luther Burden III, Bears 39th overall
Jayden Higgins, Texans 34th overall
A collective gasp at a couple of selections in this tier. Emeka Egbuka going to the Buccaneers at 19 gives him a great QB for fantasy purposes, but an extremely cloudy outlook on the surface. However, Mike Evans only has a void year on his contract after 2025, and Chris Godwin‘s recovery from a gruesome ankle injury adds more uncertainty to what many consider to be an “unfortunate” landing spot for the former Ohio State Buckeye. Buy the dip.
Tier Break
Elijah Arroyo, Seahawks 50th overall
Jaylin Noel, Texans 79th overall
Kyle Williams, Patriots 69th overall
Three of the biggest risers in the whole process round out the top 20, solidifying the growing drumbeat for all of their talents. Noel has the least clear path to targets, battling with former Iowa State Cyclone teammate Jayden Higgins for targets behind star wide receiver Nico Collins.
Tier Break
Jack Bech, Raiders 58th overall
Cam Skattebo, Giants 105th overall
Terrance Ferguson, Rams 46th overall
Jarquez Hunter, Rams 117th overall
Bhayshul Tuten, Jags 104th overall
Jalen Royals, Chiefs 133rd overall
The biggest tier so far. Big believer in the talent, landing spots and capital don’t lend themselves to immediate production for fantasy gamers.
Tier Break
Mason Taylor, Jets 42nd overall
Harold Fannin Jr., Browns 67th overall
Elic Ayomanor, Titans 136th overall
Dillon Gabriel, Browns 94th overall
Second-round capital in an offense with a dearth of pass catchers for former LSU tight end Mason Taylor makes him an intriguing selection in any form of tight end premium scoring leagues.
Tier Break
Tai Felton, Vikings 102nd overall
Jalen Milroe, Seahawks 92nd overall
Dylan Sampson, Browns 126th overall
Felton is an interesting best ball pick as his selection hints that he’ll be allowed to supplant Jalen Nailor as the tertiary option in Vikings Head Coach Kevin O’Connell’s pass-happy offense
Tier Break
Shedeur Sanders, Browns 144th overall
Brashard Smith, Chiefs 228 overall
Devin Neal, Saints 184th overall
Tory Horton, Seahawks, 166th overall
The running backs in this tier intrigue me the most, as the incumbent starters in both spots have shown a propensity to be injured in previous years.
Tier Break
Jordan James, 49ers 147th overall
Woody Marks, Texans 116th overall
Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Commanders, 245th overall
Oronde Gadsden II,Chargers165th overall
Woody Marks could earn a role spelling Joe Mixon. Oronde Gadsden II is very intriguing, as a converted wide receiver with an NFL pedigree. He walks into a Chargers tight end room to compete with Tyler Conklin for targets from Justin Herbert.
Tier Break
Tyler Shough, Saints 40th overall
Will Howard, Steelers 183 overall
Trevor Etienne Panthers 114th overall
Etienne is a depth piece that slid due to inconsistency after transferring to Georgia If he is healthy, he immediately has a role in spelling bellcow starter Chuba Hubbard.
Tier Break
Isaac TesSlaa Lions, 70th overall
Kyle Monangai, Bears 233rd overall
Dont’e Thornton, Raiders 108th overall
Damien Martinez, Seahawks 223 overall
Both WRs in this range are RAS score darlings. Martinez finds himself in a crowded backfield.
Tier Break
Jaylin Lane, Commanders 128th overall
Savion Williams, Packers 87th overall
The versatile Savion Williams adds another gadget player to complement Jayden Reed.
There you have it. 50 rookies, ranked in tiers as you go into your rookie drafts. Something to keep in mind as you’re trying to decide while you’re on the clock and sweating the future of your dynasty teams. Good luck and happy hunting to all!
