Week 12 Waiver Wire Watchlist

by Theo Gremminger, November 23, 2021

Michael Carter is out for at least two weeks. Ty Johnson split time with Tevin Coleman, but outsnapped him last week. Expect Johnson to see an even larger share of the RB work this week. We have already seen his ability as a receiver with three games of five receptions or more. Treat him as a high end RB3/flex play this week.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling led the Packers with 10 targets this past weekend, including a 75-yard TD grab. He finished with 123 yards receiving and has a plus matchup this week as Green Bay faces off in a potentially high-scoring game with the Rams. MVS can be frustrating at times, but he has big-play potential and can be started if you need a flex with upside.

Week 11 MNF Showdown: New York Giants At Tampa Bay Buccaneers

by Matt Babich, November 22, 2021

The New York Giants simply don’t deserve to be on Primetime TV. Daniel Jones is an erradic mess, and has struggled to get the ball to playmakers Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney. The offense looks to turn things around with Saquon Barkley hopeful to return to the lineup.

Tampa Bay is in a slump, but the Giants are the perfect get-right opponent. Tom Brady is still racking up elite production and helping Mike Evans and Chris Godwin have solid seasons. Leonard Fournette has blossomed as a bell-cow, racking up 15 fantasy point performances. The Bucs looks to gain Rob Gronkowski back to the slew of playmakers. =

Back to Basics: Michael Carter is a League Winner

by Marc Nuzzo, November 21, 2021

Over the last several weeks, there has been a steady increase in Michael Carter’s routes run and Snap Share, which says that the Jets are beginning to use him as a bell cow, a role that will expand as the season progresses and as he gets more experience. The Jets are an abysmal team and will continue to find themselves in negative Game Scripts, which will lead to more targets for Carter in the passing game.

If you didn’t draft Michael Carter, it might be too late to trade for him. However, he had an okay game against the Colts and Bills, so you still have a chance to buy. When that time comes, ask for him as a sweetener in a deal for another buy low target. You want Carter on your roster. Go out and get him, and go win some leagues.

Border Battle – Week 11: Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings

by Jared Michelizzi, November 20, 2021

One of the longest-standing rivalries in Professional Football is affectionately referred to as THE BORDER BATTLE. The Green Bay Packers are heading into Minnesota to face the Vikings with both teams coming off wins in week 10. Opening at a decent total of 50 points with Green Bay being 2.5 road favorites we need to really dig in here to see if this is one of the games of the week we want to focus on from a fantasy standpoint.

Minnesota has had a duel personality this year and we don’t know which team we are going to get but I lean the Packers in this Sunday’s game. If bad Minnesota shows up the Packers will cruise to victory. If good Minnesota shows up the Packers still have outs as they’ve shown they can contend with the best in the league. The one-shot I would take here would be a Rodgers-Dillon-Adams Stack with a Justin Jefferson runback.

Dynasty Market Movers – Week 10 Report

by Steve Smith, November 20, 2021

As a complement to Aaron Jones, A.J. Dillon has received a Snap Share of 32.7-percent. Despite this limited role, he has three double digit fantasy totals entering Week 10. With Jones exiting the game with knee sprain, Dillion posted 128 total yards and two TDs on 21 carries. The fantasy RB3 in Week 10, earns a position best 32.98 Lifetime Value points to rise nine spots to RB20 in dynasty.

Jarvis Landry has been an underwhelming option for fantasy gamers this year. Limited to six appearances due to a knee injury, Landry has delivered a career low 8.5 (No. 59 among qualified wide receivers) Fantasy Points Per Game. This low mark is inflated by a 19.4 point (WR17) performance in Week 1. Despite a 21.4-percent (No. 32) Target Share, he has reached 10 fantasy points just once since the Browns’ season opener. For now, he loses 8.91 Lifetime Value points and nine spots to fall to WR76.

Week 11 TNF Showdown: New England Patriots At Atlanta Falcons

by Matt Babich, November 18, 2021

The Patriots are on a roll. Mac Jones has been the best 2021 rookie quarterback and continues to improve weekly. The offense is supported by bell-cow back Damien Harris, while Jakobi Meyers and Kendrick Bourne fight for weekly relevancy.

The Falcons are a mess. They’re struggling on both sides and missing talent. Kyle Pitts is reliable and Wayne Gallman is a solid temporary option. Matt Ryan, however, struggles to consistently produce at a high level.

The Fantasy Supermarket: Trade Targets Going Into Week 11

by Matt Babich, November 17, 2021

Russell Wilson is a dual-threat gunslinger who’s addicted to elite fantasy performances. He face-planted on his return from injury, which creates the perfect bye window going into a league-winning schedule. Odell Beckham is going to be heavily involved in the Rams offense. He is a home-run swing, but his potential is worth the risk.

A.J. Dillon is a size-speed specimen, stepping into a bell-cow role. Though Aaron Jones will likely return this season, Dillon is going to smash in the meantime and stay relevant when Jone returns. Whether you’re a contender or looking for a playoff push, Dillon can give your team the edge it needs.

Back to Basics: Why Bryan Edwards RULES!

by Shervon Fakhimi, November 17, 2021

Bryan Edwards was a beast in college and now he’s manifesting that talent at the next level. In a league full of world-class athletes at wide receiver, His efficiency numbers rank on-par with the best. He is currently averaging 20.7 (No. 2 among qualified wide receivers) yards per reception and 11.4 (No. 7) yards per target. That is a testament to his talent. It also is a benefit having Derek Carr throwing him passes at quarterback.

Bryan Edwards is a monster talent at the wide receiver position. He is already producing at great efficiency and has room for more. However, he’s unproven at the NFL level. But he has never had the opportunity that stands in front of him now. He’s never had the chance to truly become the alpha receiver he’s capable of being. This is what fantasy football gamers and managers have been waiting for. Now is the time for Bryan Edwards to become a star. Don’t miss out on the ride.

Matchup Monitor: Week 11

by Aditya Fuldeore, November 16, 2021

The New York Jets have allowed at least 6 receptions to opposing RBs in five of their last six games, allowing at least 4 receptions to opposing RBs each game this season.Gaskin has had four straight games with at least 15 touches, including at least 3 receptions in four of his last six games. Facing a New York team that struggles against pass-catching backs, Gaskin is set up nicely to perform better than his usual output.

D.J. Moore has not finished as a top 20 WR since Week 4, with just one top 35 finish in that time. Washington just shut down Tom Brady and Tampa Bay, giving up just 220 passing yards and snagging 2 interceptions. The Football Team has not allowed a 100-yard WR since Week 1, so don’t expect Moore’s production to jump back up this week.

Week 11 Waiver Wire Watchlist

by Theo Gremminger, November 16, 2021

Bryan Edwards has the combination of draft capital, size, speed, athleticism, and early Breakout Age. What he lacks are consistent production and Target Share. Last week he produced an absolute dud with zero catches against the Giants. This week he flashed again with 88 yards receiving on three catches and found the endzone. The Raiders could potentially do some self-scouting and target Edwards more than the four times he was this past weekend.

Rhamondre Stevenson saw an un-Belichickian Snap Share and produced a dominant performance with two TDs on 24 touches. He is big, agile, AND is a threat in the passing game. Damien Harris missed practice on Monday and will most likely be out for Thursday’s smash spot against Atlanta. If he is available in your league, he is worth an “a lot of whatever you have left” type bid.
