1- Chicago: Caleb Williams QB USC

Williams is a lock to be selected first overall. He enters Chicago in an offense loaded with talented skill position players. He looks poised for immediate fantasy success.

2- Washington: Jayden Daniels QB LSU

Daniels is looking more and more likely to become the face of the Washington Commanders franchise as the second pick in the draft. This will be Kliff Kingsbury’s second go around with a mobile signal caller. Fantasy managers would love to see Daniels have the sort of success we have seen out of Kyler Murray.

3- New York Giants: Drake Maye QB UNC

TRADE!! Zierlein projects the Giants to make a significant move up, trading up for the strong-armed Maye. Brian Daboll would be a strong first NFL Head Coach to jumpstart Maye’s career.

Daboll had immense success with Josh Allen in Buffalo and led Daniel Jones to a top 10 fantasy finish in 2022.

4- Minnesota Vikings: JJ McCarthy QB Michigan

TRADE!! Minnesota gets their QB, moving up to select McCarthy. As great a landing spot as Chicago is for a young signal caller, Minnesota is better. McCarthy will not only be throwing passes to Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson, but will be protected by one of the best offensive lines in the league.

5- LA Chargers: Marvin Harrison Jr. WR Ohio St.

Justin Herbert dynasty managers breathe a sigh of relief as LA selects Harrison Jr. Harrison Jr. landing attached to Herbert is one of the best possible fantasy outcomes. He will see a bump in redraft and best ball ADP with this landing spot.

6- New England: Malik Nabers WR LSU

New England passes on a franchise signal caller but lands the explosive Nabers. If Nabers were to land on the Patriots, there would be groans from fantasy managers. Despite their concerns, Nabers would have immense target potential immediately in this spot.

9- Chicago: Rome Odunze WR Washington

The rich get richer. Odunze lands in Chicago, joining D.J. Moore and Keenan Allen. Does this landing spot cap his year one ceiling? Absolutely.

But long term, being attached to Caleb Williams would be an ideal outcome for a player as talented as Odunze.

10- New York Jets: Brock Bowers TE Georgia

Bowers gets top 10 draft capital and joins a Jets offense that looks like it could takeoff this season. Bowers would have plenty of opportunities for weekly production. Long term, he would be another building block alongside Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall.

16- TRADE!! Arizona: Brian Thomas WR LSU

Arizona moves back up to select Thomas Jr. After being linked to his teammate Malik Nabers, the Cardinals end up drafting the other LSU wideout. Thomas Jr. would still be an exciting addition to the Cardinals offense with his speed and athleticism.

28- Buffalo: Adonai Mitchell WR Texas

After sending Diggs to Houston, Buffalo looks like one of the more logical landing spots for a rookie WR. Whoever the Bills select will be highly in demand and see a post draft ADP bump. Mitchell led Texas in TD grabs last season and had one of the most impressive NFL Combine performances in this rookie WR class.

32- Kansas City: Ladd McConkey WR Georgia

McConkey has been on an absolute tear this offseason. He dominated in Mobile at the Senior Bowl, and then exceeded all expectations at the Combine.

McConkey landing in Kansas City attached to Patrick Mahomes would be a dream outcome scenario.

Offensive Lineman Dominate the First Rounds

In Zierlein’s mock, Offensive Linemen dominate the First Round, with nine total selections. Fantasy managers looking for more skill position selections need to be prepared. This offensive line class is strong, and NFL teams will show that this NFL Draft by selecting multiple offensive linemen in the first round.
