Today, Wolf Trelles-Heard outlines 10 players to buy in this 2026 offseason. Whether inexpensive or costing a pretty penny, there are players for every budget that are just begging to be on your dynasty squad!

Ballin’ on a Budget | Buy Low Now!

Jayden Reed | WR, Green Bay Packers

Jayden Reed showed out with 10 touchdowns as a rookie in ’23, and followed that up with a highly efficient second season. In 2024, he ranked first among all receivers in fantasy points per target (2.63), first in QB Rating per target (137.5), second in target separation (2.40), and 14th in yards per route run (2.35).

Take last season for Reed and throw it in the trash. “Be a goldfish,” as Ted Lasso so eloquently put it. Reed played just seven games after he broke his collarbone in Week 2, and when he returned, it was a bad case of “too many cooks in the kitchen.”

Jayden Reed‘s Advanced Metrics

Now, Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks are no longer in Green Bay. The receiver room has basically been reduced to Reed, Christian Watson, and Matthew Golden. As long as Reed can get on the field in two-WR sets, his production and dynasty value will skyrocket if he looks like the player we saw in his first two seasons.

Currently sitting at WR48 in PlayerProfiler’s updated dynasty rankings, Reed is a no-brainer buy at cost, and I currently have him roughly 10 spots higher in my rankings.

Daniel Jones | QB, Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis gave Daniel Jones a two-year, $88-million deal this offseason, making him the unquestioned QB1. With the lackluster free agent quarterbacks available and no first-round picks until 2028, the team was basically forced into re-signing him. Whether they like it or not, the Colts are married to Jones during this win-now window.

That should be music to the ears of dynasty managers, and yet “Danny Dimes” sits at QB25 on KeepTradeCut.

Daniel Jones‘ 2025 Efficiency Metrics

So why the trepidation in fully buying into Jones? Well, he is coming off a broken leg and torn Achilles. Before the injuries, though, he was lights out. Jones was the QB8, putting up 19.4 fantasy points per game.

With the same cast of weapons, sans Michael Pittman, Jones seems like a bargain at cost. We’ve already seen his ceiling in this offense. QB1 production at QB3 prices? Count me in.

Kenneth Gainwell | RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This might be your last chance to get Kenneth Gainwell at a discount before other managers catch on. The vibes around Bucky Irving all offseason have been off-putting, to say the least. He’s still not practicing while he rehabs from shoulder surgery (his seven games missed were more the fault of his shoulder than his foot), and head coach Todd Bowles didn’t give a reassuring answer when recently asked when he can expect Irving to be back on the field.

This all points to Gainwell being a bigger weapon in this Buccaneers offense than people realize. He finished fifth among all running backs in receptions (73) and finished with over 1,000 total yards and eight touchdowns last season. He was money down the stretch, too. From Week 11 on, he was the RB6 overall and averaged 17.8 fantasy points per game.

Gainwell is a player who will give managers usable RB2 weeks, but he’s ranked outside of the top 36 rushers at the moment. I have him sitting closer to RB30, and think he’s an inexpensive add for contenders looking to beef up a flex spot.

Mr. Monopoly | No Price Too High to Buy These Guys… NOW!

Justin Herbert | QB, Los Angeles Chargers

Everyone seems to be in on the Justin Herbert and Chargers offense for 2026, and I’m no different. The advent of offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel — along with star tackles Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater returning to full health — has the fantasy community in a tizzy over just how good this offense can be. In fact, I’m in a dynasty startup right now with The Podfather himself, and he selected Herbert over Lamar Jackson in the second round. If everything clicks, peak fantasy output similar to Herbert’s 2021 campaign could be in play this coming season.

Justin Herbert‘s Season Stats

Even while dealing with major injuries along his offensive line last year, Herbert rushed for a career-best 498 yards and still finished as the QB10 in fantasy points per game (18.7). I expect the rushing total to come back down to the 300-yard range, but the passing numbers should shoot up with McDaniel’s creative playcalling. With some high-ceiling weapons at every skill position, Herbert is set up for a massive fantasy season.

He’s my QB6 in dynasty rankings, but sits at QB8 in FantasyPros’ ECR. I’d happily pony up to acquire Herbert, who’s only 28 years old and still has plenty of high-caliber football left ahead of him.

Colston Loveland | TE, Chicago Bears

With everyone bickering over who’s going to be the Bears’ WR1 between Rome Odunze and Luther Burden, the real answer might just be Colston Loveland. Even with a slow start to his rookie campaign, the 10th overall pick in last year’s NFL Draft was electric. He finished second in Explosive Rating (118.2), fifth in yards per catch (12.3), sixth in first downs per route run (0.099), and sixth in yards per route run (1.96) among all tight ends.

Colston Loveland‘s 2025 EPX

What really has dynasty managers all hot and bothered, though, was Loveland’s finish to the season. Including the playoffs, he had four straight games with double-digit targets and averaged 94.5 receiving yards per game in that span.

Listed as the TE3 nearly everywhere you look, Loveland isn’t cheap to acquire. That said, buying high on him is a move that will pay off in the long run, if you can pull it off. He just turned 22 years old, which means Loveland has a tantalizing future ahead of him in this Ben Johnson offense.

Quick Hitters | Run, Don’t Walk… Now!

Zay Flowers | WR, Baltimore Ravens

Last year’s WR12 in fantasy points per game (14.3) is somehow ranked as the WR24 on FantasyPros’ ECR. Zay Flowers is even lower on KeepTradeCut: WR27. He’s in his prime and remains Lamar Jackson‘s top target. Flowers ranked first in juke rate (22.9%), third in Explosive Rating (125.7), and fifth in yards per route run (2.62) among all wideouts last season. He’s a smash buy at cost.

Javonte Williams | RB, Dallas Cowboys

There isn’t much behind Javonte Williams on the depth chart. After signing a three-year extension with America’s Team, he’s looking at roughly 300-plus touches this season. Williams averaged 15.2 fantasy points per game in 2025, fueled by 13 touchdowns. As long as he sees the bulk of the opportunities, Williams has low-end RB1 upside in this Dallas offense.

Jared Goff | QB, Detroit Lions

If you like fantasy points, you like Jared Goff. For four years running, he’s finished as a top-10 quarterback in total fantasy points. With an elite supporting cast and a soft schedule in 2026, Goff is a lock for 4,500 passing and 30 scores — something he’s done for three consecutive seasons. He far outproduces his QB18 price tag, making him a great add for contenders.

Greg Dulcich | TE, Miami Dolphins

Someone has to catch passes from Malik Willis in Miami, and it might as well be Greg Dulcich, who was the TE16 in total fantasy points scored from Week 14 on last season. The underlying metrics point to a breakout — if he can stay healthy. He ranked sixth in first downs per route run (0.106) and third in yards per route run (2.54). If you want an inexpensive dart throw, Dulcich is a fun one.

Darnell Mooney | WR, New York Giants

Deep league alert here, but Darnell Mooney might be worth looking into. He could play an important role early in the season with Malik Nabers a good bet to miss time as he rehabs from a knee injury, and Darius Slayton also recovering from surgery to repair a core muscle. We’re only one year removed from a 992-yard, five-TD season from Mooney, and he’s basically free. See if you can get him for a future fourth-rounder; if he doesn’t work out, no biggie.

Tick-Tock, the clock is running in 2926!
