Fantasy Football Streamers Week 6

The fantasy season continues to plod along despite injuries and bye weeks. Fantasy football is routinely a game of attrition, so being able to find players on waivers who can have big weeks for your lineup is crucial to making the playoffs.

This article will focus on players available in at least 50% of Yahoo leagues, as well as some deep sleepers rostered in less than 20% of leagues. Without further ado, here are the best Week 6 streaming options at every position.

Quarterback Streaming Options Week 6

Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks at Jacksonville Jaguars (35% rostered)

Week 5’s matchup between Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield was everything we could have hoped for. Darnold completed 82.4% of his passes for 341 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. He finished as the QB2 on the week with 28.6 points. It was the first time this season we saw the version of Darnold that was a league-winning quarterback with the Vikings in 2024.

Sam Darnold Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

Statistically, Darnold’s season hasn’t been overly impressive. But his advanced metrics show a quarterback who is capable of putting up a big week in fantasy at any given time.

Darnold is the QB1 in yards per attempt (9.3) and the QB4 in air yards per attempt (8.4). He is the QB8 in fantasy points per drop back (0.60), the QB4 in expected points added (69.3), the QB3 in money throws (five), and the QB2 in Explosive Rating (124.3).

The Jaguars frequently sit in zone coverage, which plays to Darnold’s strengths this season. He likely won’t hit the same heights he did in Week 5, but he can still be a solid streaming option in an advantageous matchup.

Deep Sleeper: Mac Jones, San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7% rostered)

Mac Jones continues to operate the 49ers’ offense at a high level. In three starts, Jones has completed 66.7% of his passes for 905 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception. Even more impressive is the fact that those stats were produced without George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, and, at times, Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings.

Jones has over 20 fantasy points and a top 10 fantasy finish in two of his three starts this season. He will face off against a Buccaneers defense that just gave up a big game to Sam Darnold. Be sure to monitor his status in practice since he is currently navigating through a knee injury, but he is an option if he is healthy.

Honorable Mention: Michael Penix Jr., Atlanta Falcons vs Buffalo Bills (23% rostered)

The first four starts of Michael Penix Jr’s second season have featured plenty of highs and lows. Penix has two top 12 finishes in his first four games, but he also had two games with under 6.0 fantasy points scored.

Buffalo’s defense has not been as dominant as in years past, and the offense can force Atlanta into a shootout situation, allowing Penix to put up strong numbers coming out of the bye week. This is especially true if Darnell Mooney can return to full strength from his Week 4 hamstring injury.

Running Back Streaming Options Week 6

Kendre Miller, RB, New Orleans Saints vs New England Patriots (31% rostered)

Kendre Miller continues to see a steady workload as the backup behind Alvin Kamara in New Orleans. In Week 5, Miller had his second consecutive game with double-digit carries. He has at least five carries and 20 yards in four of five games this year.

Alvin Kamara suffered an ankle injury during practice leading up to Week 6’s contest against the New England Patriots, which opens an opportunity for Miller to potentially take more work from the veteran running back. Even if Kamara is healthy, Miller has been playing well enough to justify giving him more touches.

New England has been good against running backs this year, so this isn’t the best matchup. But Miller is one of the few waiver wire running backs getting consistent enough work that he can get into your lineup.

Deep Sleeper: Isaiah Davis, New York Jets vs Denver Broncos (4% rostered)

Braelon Allen‘s injury bumped Isaiah Davis into a larger role in the Jets’ backfield. Davis logged a season-high 40.2% snap share in Week 5 against the Rams. And while that increased workload didn’t necessarily equate to a big performance (one carry for five yards with three receptions on four targets for 28 yards), it did show that the Jets are committed to their split backfield approach.

Isaiah Davis Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

Davis will continue to be a factor in the Jets’ backfield with Allen on the injured reserve and now gets a matchup against a Denver defense that has allowed the fourth most yards to players targeted out of the backfield in 2025 (230) despite ranking 28th in targets against (21).

Wide Receiver Streaming Options Week 6

Tre Tucker, Las Vegas Raiders vs Tennessee Titans (45% rostered)

Tre Tucker‘s 14.9 PPR points per game (WR17) is pretty fake considering that most of that production came in Week 3 (nine targets, eight receptions, 145 yards, three touchdowns). However, Tucker is still seeing a consistent target share, which means he should be firmly on our fantasy radar, given injuries and bye weeks.

Tre Tucker Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

The veteran receiver has at least six targets in three of five games this season. He’s had at least 50 receiving yards three times as well. And for as much as Geno Smith has struggled this season, he is still performing well down the field, which is where Tucker is at his best. Geno Smith is the QB12 in deep ball completion rate (42.1%) and the QB4 in deep ball catchable pass rate (57.9%).

Deep Sleeper: Ryan Flournoy, Dallas Cowboys at Carolina Panthers (3% rostered)

Ryan Flournoy received some positive buzz before last season, but it wasn’t surprising when the 2024 sixth-round pick had minimal production (14 targets, 10 receptions, and 102 yards). Flournoy was buried on the depth chart behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens to start 2025, making him an afterthought once again.

Ryan Flournoy Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

However, injuries to Lamb and KaVontae Turpin in Week 5 led to an increased role for Ryan Flournoy against the New York Jets, and he made the most of it. Flournoy caught six of nine targets for 114 yards, scoring 18.4 PPR points and finishing as the WR13 on the week.

Dak Prescott is playing at an elite level, and the Cowboys are more than happy to air it out this season. As long as Lamb is injured, players like Flournoy will have some appeal. The second-year receiver may have earned an opportunity to be part of the game plan against a Panthers secondary that has struggled in 2025.

Honorable Mention: Tory Horton, Seattle Seahawks at Jacksonville Jaguars (7% rostered)

Tory Horton is a boom-or-bust flex play every week thanks to his consistent role in Seattle’s passing attack.

Horton has at least four targets, two receptions, 30 receiving yards, and a touchdown in three of four games this season. He is far from reliable each week, thanks to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp ahead of him on the depth chart, but he is consistently earning targets when he’s on the field.

Horton can easily give your lineup a zero, but he is an intriguing play against a Jaguars team that just traded their top cornerback heading into the season. If the Jaguars can push Seattle offensively, then Horton can once again deliver a fantasy-relevant week.

Tight End Streaming Options Week 6

Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers (26% rostered)

Unfortunately, Harold Fannin Jr.‘s receiving production has gone down each week, culminating in a season-low 13 yards in Week 5. Thankfully, he was able to salvage his day as a fantasy asset thanks to the first touchdown reception of his career.

Fannin continues to get a consistent enough target share (at least four in every game this season) to justify having him in your lineup. The added bonus of the rookie earning red zone looks from Dillon Gabriel in his first career start also bodes well for better days ahead.

That could start against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a defense that is allowing the fourth-most half-PPR points per game to tight ends in 2025 (13.4).

Deep Sleeper: Michael Mayer, Las Vegas Raiders vs Tennessee Titans (1% rostered)

It looks like Brock Bowers is set to miss another week due to a setback with his knee injury, putting Michael Mayer in a position to have a strong fantasy week.

Michael Mayer Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

Mayer missed Week 5 due to a concussion, but he put together a reasonable fantasy performance (four receptions for 38 yards) in Week 1 when Bowers was first injured. Mayer is set to return from his injury and has intriguing upside in a Raiders’ passing attack that has struggled to find its footing this season.
