NFL Draft Grades | Which NFC Teams Flunked the Draft?

by Cody Carpentier · Fantasy Football

The 2023 NFL Draft has come and gone, the PlayerProfiler team was live in Kansas City, broadcasting all three days on YouTube. We also had boots on the ground at Union Station, as well as numerous stations set up at the house. I was grateful for the opportunity to host the entire NFL Draft from Pick 1 through 259, alongside some of my good friends, Matty Kiwoom, Alex Dunlap, Anand Nanduri, Matt Kelley, and Jack Cavanagh. To put a cap on the 2023 NFL Draft process, I will be attacking NFL Draft grades from an Analytical and Personal Draft Grade perspective. Giving you a composite score from draft capital value, and a personal grade on the draft overall featuring movement, and the team’s perceived plan of attack. You can also find Part 1 of the NFL Draft Grades, featuring the AFC Grades on PlayerProfiler in the NFL Draft section.

Positional Values are weighted by Position with QB, OT, and EDGE as focus points in round one. CB, DL, WR, and TE as focal points in rounds two/three, and LB, C, and S as targets on Day 3. Kicker and Punter are positions that negatively affect your grade, and RB is a position that is open-ended due to the lowest career length, and upside in later rounds. If there is a talent inside the Top 16, it matters, but outside of that, your hit rate isn’t drastically different from 50 to Undrafted.

Player Values are created via a delta composite in comparing real draft capital to my Top 200 Big Board featured on PlayerProfiler.com finished in 34th place in The Huddle Report in 2023, ahead of The Draft Network, ESPN’s Matt Miller and Jordan Reid.
