Every fantasy season, there are at least one or two players who are late-round selections that go on to become a league-winning player. This article will talk about players with an Average Draft Position (ADP) of 120 or later. A lot of late-round league winners are rookie players who need time to acclimate to the rigors of the NFL before taking on a big role. Most league winners are players who take advantage of injuries to the starters ahead of them.

Here are some late-round players who are in a prime position to win your league for you.

Ray Davis (RB) Buffalo Bills

Ray Davis‘ Advanced Metrics

RB Ray Davis is entering his 2nd season with the Buffalo Bills. He is the primary backup to starter James Cook in the high-flying Bills offense. Should anything happen to Cook, Ray Davis has the chance to post top 10 RB numbers weekly. Davis has both the receiving and rushing ability to be a great league-winning asset on your roster. In limited action last season, Davis made some explosive plays with 6 total touchdowns, with one being a 63-yard receiving touchdown. With an ADP of 136, he is a worthy stash on your roster.

Dylan Sampson (RB) Cleveland Browns

Dylan Sampson Late-Round League Winner

Dylan Sampson’s Advanced Metrics

First-year RB Dylan Sampson is now likely the top backup to starter Jerome Ford for the Cleveland Browns after fellow rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was recently arrested for domestic violence. Sampson had an explosive workhorse season last year for Tennessee with 1,491 rushing yards on 258 carries with 22 rushing touchdowns, along with 20 catches and 143 receiving yards. Sampson is one injury away from being the top back for a Kevin Stefanski offense that puts running backs in a prime position to succeed. With an ADP of 149, Sampson is stash worthy in any format.

Isaiah Likely (TE) Baltimore Ravens

Isaiah Likely‘s Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

Tight end Isaiah Likely was a league-winning tight end back in 2023 as a rookie when starter Mark Andrews was injured. Likely recorded 21 receptions for 322 yards and five touchdowns in the last six games of the season.

Mark Andrews is entering his age-29 season after dealing with multiple injuries for each of the last couple of years. It is likely (pun intended) that Likely will be the top option at tight end for the Ravens at some point in the season as Andrews may suffer another injury. Likely just broke a bone in his foot, which will drop him even further in ADP. He will only miss one or two games by the time he returns. It will be even easier to scoop him up at the end of your drafts.

Kyle Williams (WR) New England Patriots

Kyle Williams Late-Round League Winner

Kyle Williams’ Advanced Metrics

Rookie wide receiver Kyle Williams joins a Patriots team that is lacking playmakers for quarterback Drake Maye outside of wideout Stefon Diggs, who is recovering from an ACL injury suffered last season with the Texans. Kyle Williams had a fantastic final season at Washington State, with 70 catches, 1,198 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns. His new quarterback, Drake Maye, has flashed signs of brilliance in his rookie season. Williams looks to be the best wide receiver on the tea,m and he should form a beautiful connection with Maye for years to come.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB) Washington Commanders

Jacory Croskey-Merritt‘s Advanced Metrics

Coming out of Arizona in the 7th round, Jacory Croskey-Merritt has impressed his coaches and observers of training camp. Incumbent starter Brian Robinson has been steady as the top back, but he lacks explosive plays and has struggled with injuries. Croskey-Merritt has a great opportunity to display his explosive ability, as evidenced by his 95th percentile Burst Score, with the lack of depth the Commanders have at running back.

Devin Neal (RB) New Orleans Saints

<a href=

Rookie Devin Neal was a very productive back at Kansas. He finished as the school’s all-time leading in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. On top of that, he added 77 catches in four years.

This makes Neal a very attractive every-down player in the same mold as Alvin Kamara. Kamara is entering his age-30 season and has a hard time staying healthy for the entire season. Neal is the most recent backfield addition and has the skill set to replace Kamara should he go down. With an ADP of 215, Neal is a steal in the last rounds of your drafts that can be gold for your roster.

Jaydon Blue (RB) Dallas Cowboys

Jaydon Blue

Jaydon Blue’s Advanced Metrics

Jaydon Blue was not a full-time starter for Texas, but he did make some big plays for the Longhorns. He had 730 rushing yards, 8 rushing touchdowns on only 134 carries, and he added another 42 catches for 368 receiving yards with 6 receiving TDs. The receiving ability alone makes him a great fantasy asset. He has great speed to pull away from defenders with his 4.43-second forty-yard dash, as he also returned kicks for Texas.

Dallas did not invest much in the running position with the cheap addition of Javonte Williams. Williams has lacked explosiveness since his severe knee injury. This makes Jaydon Blue the most explosive player for this Cowboys’ offense that looks to be passing the ball with the addition of George Pickens, along with CeeDee Lamb and newly extended Jake Ferguson. It would make this offense even more dangerous with Blue running routes out of the backfield. Draft Blue now at his ADP of 150 before he goes much higher.
