Day one of the 2025 NFL Draft has come to an end. For dynasty managers, day one brought several young players significant boosts. These new additions of skill players and offensive line will help to reshape and stabilize those players and franchises. New players come in every year and help reshape franchises and dynasty teams. Below, we will dive into a few of these players and examine why they are day one winners.

Winners

QB Trevor Lawrence – Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars have a new head coach in Liam Coen and now a new weapon for Trevor Lawrence. The Jags’ offense is going to be high-powered. Brian Thomas Jr, Travis Hunter, and Travis Etienne, and suddenly, the Jags look very formidable.

Lawrence has been underwhelming in 2024, but for 2025, the excuses are over. A dynamic duo should help Lawrence in 2025. His stock in dynasty leagues is going to skyrocket now and will continue. You can’t help but like what the Jags did in round one.

QB Bryce Young – Carolina Panthers

Bryce Young‘s career has been rough, but it will take a turn in 2025. The Panthers gave Young some help by drafting Tet McMillan, a big-bodied receiver who will help Young in 2025. McMillan and Xavier Leggete form a solid duo that will add much-needed firepower in Carolina.

The Panthers’ offense was not very good in 2024, and adding a wideout who can become a reliable target for Young and win at the contested catch will help. Young’s dynasty outlook has significantly improved, and he is a solid QB2 with tons of QB1 upside, especially in superflex leagues.

QB Justin Fields and RB Breece Hall – New York Jets

Justin Fields, who is now with the Jets, has an opportunity to showcase his abilities after having six weeks of success in Pittsburgh. The offensive line got help in round one of the draft by selecting Armand Membou from Missouri.

Fields increased his dynasty value, and running back Breece Hall did. Protecting Fields and helping Hall by blocking has put the Jets in some serious fantasy value. The rushing upside from Fields puts him in the QB2 territory and could crack QB1. As for Hall, he is talented; there is no question about it. Now, with some offensive line help to move defenders and allow Hall to find his lanes, he should put together a better 2025.

QB Anthony Richardson – Indianapolis Colts

Anthony Richardson‘s dynasty stock has taken a bit of a hit after a disappointing 2024. After selecting tight end Tyler Warren from Penn State, Richardson finally has a safety valve to throw check-downs to—Warren’s catch and Richardson’s completion percentages are a match made in heaven.

These two needed each other, which should help Richardson for fantasy purposes. Along with Warren, the Colts still have Jonathan Taylor as a running back and Michael Pittman as a wide receiver. This year, Richardson has the help he needs to succeed; it’s on him to reach that success.

QB Jordan Love – Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love is another winner as the Packers selected speedy wide receiver Matthew Golden from Texas. The speedster is going to help Love propel in 2025.

Along with an already stacked receiver room with Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Jayden Reed, Love should have a much better 2025. Love threw for 3,389 yards in 2024 and had 25 touchdowns. Adding more firepower is going to increase Love’s value for fantasy. Top 5 QB is not out of the question this season, and he is already a QB1 on many teams in dynasty.

Dynasty managers should be thrilled if they own any of these young quarterbacks. Rounds Two and Three of the 2025 NFL Draft will also be entertaining. If you can grab any of these players at a great value, do so now before the season gets closer.
