Trey Benson flashed a 35.7-percent Juke Rate and 5.3 Yards Per Touch before a meniscus tear derailed his opportunity to take over the Arizona backfield. Pushing too hard during his practice window triggered a setback, leaving him to watch the team draft his potential replacement from the sidelines.
Now buried on a crowded depth chart, the former third-round pick is a prime change-of-scenery candidate who needs a trade to salvage his dynasty value. Benson is droppable in all but the deep leagues.

ESPN's Adam Schefter considers new Arizona Cardinals running...
Tyler Allgeier signed a $12.25 million deal with Arizona hoping to become the lead back, but his role was immediately threatened when the Cardinals drafted Jeremiyah Love third overall. This high-profile selection creates a crowded and confusing backfield for fantasy purposes, especially with veteran James Conner and Trey Benson still in the rotation.
Allgeier will shift into short-yardage and goal-line duties, and the rookie Love is expected to dominate the team’s rushing and pass-catching opportunities in 2026. Allgeier will have moderate standalone value as a key cog in the high octane Cardinals defense and will continue to be the league’s premier upside handcuff back.
While John Harbaugh is “running the show” in New York and views Love as a versatile offensive weapon, the Giants are also considering a “perfect scenario” trade-down into the 6-10 range to target Ohio State defenders Caleb Downs or Sonny Styles. Though, Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy Jr. offer an effective 1-2 punch at running back, New York has experience squandering premium draft capital on the RB position in the Top-5.
Raanan also reported that multiple NFL teams have Love as “their top graded player,” though not necessarily No. 1 on their big board.
Meanwhile, SNY’s Connor Hughes stated “Don’t be surprised,” if Arizona drafts Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love. Despite a backfield already crowded with veterans like James Conner and Tyler Allgeier, the Cardinals may still select Jeremiyah Love at No. 3 as the best player available, potentially snatching him away from other interested suitors like the Titans and Giants. If Arizona pulls the trigger on the Notre Dame star, Love is projected to eventually outshine his teammates and emerge as the team’s undisputed lead running back.
The bottom line is NFL’s love is real for Love. He is making a real push for the RB3 spot in fantasy football dynasty league rankings.
The Arizona Cardinals have signed running back Tyler Allgeier to a two-year, $12.25M deal. This will give him a fresh start after four seasons with the Falcons. In dynasty football, Allgeier’s value rises immediately. He now has a clearer path to early-down carries in a Cardinals backfield that struggled for consistency last year.
For dynasty managers, Allgeier becomes a low-risk, high-upside add. He could see a workload boost in passing situations and short-yardage touches, especially if injuries hit again. With a favorable contract and opportunity, Allgeier is worth rostering in redraft leagues too and could emerge as a sneaky flex or RB2 play each week in 2026 season.

Fantasy managers got some unfortunate news that Drake London is now questionable with a hip injury and is in danger of missing a cake matchup versus the Dolphins. After an 8.2 fantasy point performance Week 7 against the 49ers, London will be in a great spot to rebound should he play Sunday.
Darnell Mooney and Kyle Pitts will be sneaky winners should London miss. With Kirk Cousins getting the start in place of an injured Michael Penix Jr., the Falcons will logically feed Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier. The Dolphins defense is dead last against the run. Fire up all active Falcons this week versus the Dolphins.

The Atlanta Falcons came out running all over the Minnesota Vikings, winning 22-6. Led by star running back Bijan Robinson who dominated with 143 rushing yards on 22 carries and added 3 catches for 25 yards. Backup running back Tyler Allgeier had 76 rushing yards on 16 carries with a vulture touchdown along with 1 catch for 4 yards. The Falcons won this game on the back of their running game and their defense. Atlanta looks like a contender to compete with the Buccaneers for the NFC South division.
Bijan Robinson is a consensus top 5 running back in fantasy, he is a must start every week. The Falcons are very reliable for fantasy production in the running game, as backup Tyler Allgeier is a viable option should you be tight on running back depth. Allgeier is a very valuable handcuff back to have on hand in case Bijan goes down.
