Best Ball Stacks to Target in 2026

Best ball summer is in full swing! Roster construction is a fundamental tool when drafting a best-ball team. A large part of that is ensuring a proper QB-WR stack to maximize spike weeks. Stacking is also a fun way to engage with dynasty rosters if you are a team on the fringes of competitiveness and your trade market is stale, allowing you to maximize your roster’s volatility.

Below are five elite stacks to target in any best ball draft this season based on current Underdog ADP.

Pushing All In for Fat Stacks!

5 Detroit Lions

QB | Jared Goff | ADP: 108.3 (Early Round 10)

WR | Jameson Williams | ADP: 48.7 (Early 5th)

The Detroit Lions’ offense regressed slightly after losing longtime offensive coordinator Ben Johnson last season, scoring 12 fewer touchdowns than in 2024. However, the results were still fine from a fantasy perspective. Jared Goff finished as the QB8 overall, and Jameson Williams finished as the WR10 overall in half-point PPR formats. Goff struggled to start the year, but once Dan Campbell took over playcalling in week 10, Goff had five top 12 QB finishes out of nine games. Williams had the best season of his career and has now strung together two consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.

Despite their encouraging finish to the season, both players are undervalued in best-ball drafts on Underdog. Goff is QB16 in ADP, which prices him much closer to his floor than his ceiling. Williams is the WR25 in ADP, a rank he has solidly beaten over the last two seasons, as he finished WR19 in 2024. Aside from their value, what makes this pair intriguing to stack is the playoff schedule. The Lions play weeks 15 and 16 in a dome, and then conclude the season with what could be a shootout against the division rival Chicago Bears.

4 Baltimore Ravens

QB | Lamar Jackson | ADP: 56.3 (Late 5th Round)

WR | Zay Flowers | ADP: 32.4 (Late 3rd)

Lamar Jackson‘s 2025 season was torpedoed by a hamstring injury he sustained in week four. Jackson tried to play through the injury all year, resulting in a QB20 overall finish, his worst season as a full-time starter. Jackson’s hamstring injury hampered his ability to run the football effectively, a key component of his skill set and fantasy greatness. Jackson finished the season averaging only 43.4 rushing yards per game, nearly half the amount of yards he averaged in 2024. Despite Jackson’s struggles, Zay Flowers had the best season of his career last year, finishing as the WR7 overall in half-point PPR. He also saw an elite 29.1% target share as part of the Ravens’ passing offense.

Despite no additions to the Ravens receiving unit, outside of two, day three picks, Flowers is priced as the WR15 on Underdog, making him a good bet to beat this ADP. Jackson remains the QB2 in ADP, the same spot he occupied last season. However, he was off the board in the third round last season and could slide into Round 6 this year. Drafters would be wise to scoop up Jackson at this discounted ADP.

3 Washington Commanders

QB | Jayden Daniels | ADP: 67.1 (Mid Round 6)

WR | Terry McLaurin | ADP: 44.9 (Late 4th)

Both Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin had seasons to forget last year. Daniels played in only seven games as he battled through multiple injuries before dislocating his left elbow in Week 9, forcing him to miss the rest of the season. When he did play, Daniels saw a season two regression with a slight dip in his Adjusted Yards per Attempt, down almost a full yard from his rookie season.

McLaurin started the 2025 offseason as a holdout. Then, shortly after reaching a new deal with the Commanders, McLaurin sustained a quad injury in Week 3 and did not return fully until the Commanders’ season was all but over in Week 13. McLaurin and Daniels played in only two full games together in 2025. With the two now healthy, the Commanders’ offense should rebound. It was only two years ago, in 2024 — Daniels’s rookie season — that both he and McLaurin finished inside the top six at both of their respective positions.

New offensive coordinator David Blough has made it a priority this season to discuss the need to get McLaurin the bulk of the targets this season. With McLaurin competing for wide receiver targets with the likes of incoming rookie Antonio Williams and Van Jefferson, it should be easy to soak up as many targets as he can handle. Going off the board as WR23 in ADP, McLaurin is priced near his floor. Daniels is also priced well despite being QB4, as he is nearly two rounds cheaper than last season.

2 Los Angeles Chargers

QB | Justin Herbert | ADP: 81.9 (Late 7th Round)

WR | Ladd McConkey | ADP: 37 (Early 4th)

Justin Herbert rebounded last year from a down 2024 season, finishing as the QB10 overall in ’25. He was used as a rusher frequently last season, posting a career-high 498 rushing yards. Herbert’s use of his rushing ability increased his fantasy floor, which helped his fantasy output as he passed for a career-worst 6.5 Adjusted Yards per Attempt.  Ladd McConkey was a disappointment last season, finishing as the WR29 overall after having a second-round ADP in 2025. After a strong 2024 rookie season, McConkey regressed in nearly every offensive category, seeing fewer targets, receptions, and yards.

The Chargers as a team are a bit hyped up in the best ball streets due to the addition of Mike McDaniel as offensive coordinator. McDaniel comes over after stringing together multiple fantasy-friendly seasons with the Miami Dolphins. In an offensive system like McDaniels, Herbert has the potential to have an MVP season. Herbert finished as a top 5 fantasy quarterback in 2021 when he passed for over 5,000 yards. This type of finish is possible with McDaniels as offensive coordinator. If Herbert has this type of season, he will be the tide that rises all boats, one of those boats being Conkey.

With Keenan Allen no longer on the Chargers, McConkey appears set to be Herbert’s primary option in the passing game. If he is able to clear 120 targets, he will make for a great value even at his ADP of WR17.

1) Kansas City Chiefs

QB | Patrick Mahomes | ADP: 90.1 (Mid Round 8)

WR | Xavier Worthy | ADP: 96.8 Early 9th

Patrick Mahomes and Xavier Worthy had a lost season in 2025. Worthy sustained a season-long, lingering shoulder injury in week one. While he recovered and ultimately played the majority of the season, head coach Andy Reid was limited by the injury. The limitations were apparent as Worthy finished as the WR59 in half-point PPR. Mahomes finished as the QB11 overall in 2025 while playing in only 14 games due to a week 15 ACL tear that ended his season. Prior to his season ending, Mahomes was the QB2 in fantasy points per game.

While Mahomes is in jeopardy of missing week one due to the late-season ACL tear, his ADP is the lowest it has been in years. Going off the board behind Trevor Lawrence as the QB11 in ADP, Mahomes stacks should feed families this year, assuming he is able to see the field towards the start of the season. While Mahomes has many stacking options, such as Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce, Xavier Worthy offers the best value. With Rice showing an inability to not be a knucklehead and Kelece another year older, Worthy has a really good shot of being a top-24 WR if the Chiefs offense remains the Chiefs offense. He makes him a smash selection at his current ADP value of WR45.
