While elusive, Mitchell Trubisky is not likely going to scramble for too many yards. Add in a below average wide receiver corps and a running back who is a limited pass catcher, and Trubisky is more likely to have a Cody Kessler rookie year than a Dak Prescott one.

It’s time to do some reactionary analysis of rookies and the teams they’ve landed on, as we attempt to dissect who the fantasy football contenders and pretenders are among the rookie class for 2017. The first player we’ll look at is Dalvin Cook, who entered the 2017 draft process as a highly touted prospect out of Florida State who underwhelmed at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Early speculation is that the Vikings will be looking to establish a running back committee early, which does little in the way of helping Cook’s fantasy value, or any Minnesota running back’s value for that matter. The wheels don’t appear to be up for Dalvin Cook heading into 2017.

Corey Davis utterly dominated collegiate defenders, and despite the underwhelming talent he may have faced out of the MAC conference, still posted 331 receptions for 5,278 yards and 52 touchdowns, good for a 51.6-percent College Dominator Rating (96th-percentile).

Giants Fantasy Football Team Outlook: Eli’s Last Stand?
