The 2025 Biletnikoff Award winner is the first receiver off the board.
In a class littered with talent at the receiver position, Daniel Jeremiah has USC’s Makai Lemon being the first wideout selected in his first mock draft of the offseason. The reigning Biletnikoff Award winner comes off the board at No. 13 overall to the Los Angeles Rams, a pick acquired from Atlanta in last year’s first-round trade. This would give the Rams an embarrassment of riches at WR alongside Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, a move reminiscent of Tampa Bay selecting Emeka Egbuka in Round 1 last year.
From a fantasy perspective, being attached to HC Sean McVay would be great for Lemon’s long-term outlook. However, it would likely cap his ceiling during his rookie season as he’d be — at best — the third option in the passing game. The 21-year-old All-American would likely be sprinkled in during 3-WR sets and rotational snaps early on, before eventually taking over for Adams once his contract expires after the 2026 season. Lemon is coming into the league after catching 79 passes for 1,156 yards and nine TDs in 12 games last season.
