Puka Nacua has checked into a rehab facility following a civil lawsuit alleging he bit a woman and made an antisemitic remark on New Year’s Eve. His attorney cited intense media coverage as a factor in his treatment entry, while Rams coach Sean McVay expressed support for Nacua’s growth and a desire to keep him on the team long-term.
Although Nacua is eligible for a contract extension, negotiations are expected to proceed more slowly than those of his peers as he works through these personal and legal challenges. Nacua’s quick action and self-awareness reinforces the “buy the dip” advice for fantasy football dynasty leagues.

You never go full Mel Gibson. Per TMZ, a Los Angeles woman claims Puka Nacua made an antisemitic comment, and then bit her so hard he broke her skin.
While Nacua denies the claim, this is his second character red flag in four months. Puka has already fallen behind Chase and JSN in the dynasty rankings, and this news creates an uneasy environment around the superstar receiver. Receivers like Lamb, Nabers and Jefferson will likely close the gap in the dynasty rankings, however, trading for a Top-5 WR at a discount in the wake of controversy is typically good process. If a nervous dynasty manager thinks a suspension is coming, submit an aggressive trade offer.
The Rams are first in both the NFC and in the NFC West at 11-3. In a pivotal match that will break a tie with the 11-3 Seahawks, the Rams expect to be without wide receiver Davante Adams.
Adams has been a menace in the red zone as he leads the league in red zone targets with 32 and in total touchdowns at 14. Adams is dealing with both a knee and hamstring injury. In a short week, he is listed as doubtful. Expect standout receiver Puka Nacua to get increased usage while the Rams utilize the running back duo of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum.

Puka Nacua missed week seven with an ankle injury but is expected to be back on the field for the Los Angeles Rams as they come out of their bye. Nacua has fifty-four receptions for 616 yards and two touchdowns on the year.
When Nacua was out in week seven Davante Adams paced the Rams passing attack with five catches for thirty-five yards and three touchdowns. Nacua’s return is significant on its own but the Rams also placed wide receiver Tutu Atwell on injured reserve as well.
As long as there are no lingering effects from the ankle injury Nacua will return to his status as an elite wide receiver. Matthew Stafford remains one of the best quarterbacks in the league and should continue to keep Nacua and Adams as focal points in a potent passing attack.

The Rams are losing some speed with Tutu Atwell heading to the IR due to a hamstring injury. While the focus of the Rams offense runs through Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, and Kyren Williams, it will be a blow from the fact that Atwell is able to stretch defenses.
Atwell’s best game came in Week 4 where he had 15.8 fantasy points and was the WR19 on the week. While this isn’t a huge hit for fantasy purposes, it will affect elements of real football in which Sean McVay and the Rams are trying to break away at the top of the NFC West. The Rams are currently tied with the Seahawks with a 5-2 record.

Los Angeles Rams wide reciever Puka Nacua will miss multiple weeks with a sprained ankle. Puka was on a record breaking pace for most catches and receiving yards in the regular season. Sadly this injury will likely prevent him from reaching those numbers. He has 54 catches for 616 yards and 2 touchdowns making him WR1 on the season. The injury may hamper his production going forward, as he may possibly re-aggravate the injury. The hope is he can continue where he left off.
Losing Puka is a big blow for his owners, but Jordan Whittington is a decent wavier wire replacement as quarterback Matthew Stafford is known for consolidating his target to his top 2 weapons. Davante Adams is the clear leader now but he can’t take all the targets. Whittington has shown he is capable of taking a bigger load. Tutu Atwell will be another beneficiary, he will be running more routes.
