Kayshon Boutte has totaled 1,140 yards and nine touchdowns over the last two seasons, emerging as the Patriots X receiver with a 17.5 average depth of target. The arrival of Romeo Doubs and a potential trade for A.J. Brown may leave Boutte as an expendable piece in the Patriots’ reshaped receiving corps.

As Boutte enters the final year of his rookie deal, he is a valuable trade asset for teams seeking an inexpensive outside playmaker before he hits free agency. Though Boutte is better than Doubs, earning a Doubs-level contract in 2027 is his best-case scenario.

Kayshon Boutte left Week 9 with a hamstring injury. Rhamondre Stevenson is on pace to miss his 2nd straight game.

Even though Demario Douglas put up the best fantasy performance with Boutte sidelined last week, it was Kyle Williams who set a season-high 46-percent snap share. Williams should see increased snaps again in Week 10, but is only a deep-league add.

Stevenson missed Week 9, and Henderson handled 19 touches on a 75-percent snap share. Expect Henderson to again handle a bellcow role in Week 10 versus Tampa Bay. Henderson is a borderline Top-12 option at RB in Week 10.

The New England Patriots depth chart is shaping up and the positional battles appear straight forward. Kayshon Boutte and Kyle Williams at X, Stefon Diggs and Kendrick Bourne at Z, and then Demario Douglas and Efton Chism III in the slot.

It’s interesting that Boutte is listed ahead of Kyle Williams at the X spot, Williams has been drawing rave reviews early on in camp and will likely surpass Boutte eventually. Mack Hollins, Ja’Lynn Polk and Javon Baker are competing for roster spots.

Diggs is the first Patriots wide receiver off the board usually in the seventh round, Williams and Douglas follow well into the 100s, the remaining wide receivers are mostly undrafted. As training camp progresses, expect Williams to earn a starting spot resulting in his price rising in drafts.

Washington State wide receiver Kyle Williams is generating significant interest ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, with nine teams having scheduled official pre-draft visits with him. The 5-foot-10, 182-pound playmaker is known for his explosive speed and deep-threat abilities.  His last season in college he recorded 70 receptions for 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Williams’ pre-draft visits include the Seattle Seahawks, which he participated in their 30-player visit program. Also, the San Francisco 49ers have scheduled a visit with him, indicating their interest in adding depth to their receiving corps. Other teams reportedly expressing interest include the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, and Tennessee Titans.  Which they are set to take Cam Ward 1st overall.  Would be interesting if Williams would go to Titans, where they played with each other two years ago.
