Jerome Ford
Jerome Ford Placed on Injured Reserve

Browns running back Jerome Ford will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.

Jerome Ford will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. Since week 7, Ford had not seen a snap share above 40% and he hasn’t finished any better than the RB28 on a given week in 2025.

Ford had some early season appeal when Quinshon Judkins was dealing with legal trouble, but that quickly evaporated once Judkins joined the team. Expect Ford to draw meager interest in the offseason in a support role to a lead back. For dynasty, Ford is best left at the back end of rosters as his best days are more than likely behind him.

Woody Marks
Woody Marks And Nick Chubb Both Miss Practice
18 hours ago

The Houston Texans were down two running backs Wednesday as both Woody Marks and Nick Chubb missed practice.

Nick Chubb suffered a rib injury early in the Houston Texans win versus the Kansas City Chiefs and ended up finishing with just one carry. Woody Marks left the game shortly with an ankle injury but returned to finish the game.

In Chubb’s absence Marks dominated the backfield. Marks totaled 28 touches and scored on a C.J. Stroud touchdown pass. He did cede one carry to Dare Ogunbowale from the five yard line that led to a score.

Marks finishing the game last week should give fantasy managers some comfort that his absence from practice is just precautionary, with his current workload he’s a locked in running back two.

Geno Smith
Geno Smith Likely Out For Week 15

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith is on track to miss their week 15 game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a shoulder injury.

Geno Smith suffered the injury in the Raiders loss last week against the Denver Broncos, backup Kenny Pickett finished the game. If Smith does miss the upcoming matchup Pickett will be called upon to start. Smith has struggled this year, throwing almost as many interceptions (14) as touchdowns (16). Pickett completed 72.7% of his passes and threw one touchdown in relief against Denver.

The Raiders offense has mostly been a fantasy wasteland this season, managers might be forced to start highly drafted players like Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty but besides those two this offense can be avoided.

Drake London
Drake London To Miss Fourth Straight Game
18 hours ago

The Atlanta Falcons have ruled out wide receiver Drake London for their upcoming matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Drake London will miss his fourth straight game for the Atlanta Falcons when they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night. London suffered a PCL sprain in week 11 and hasn’t played since.

The Falcons have called London day-to-day since he suffered the injury but he’s now going on a full month without playing. It’s possible Atlanta is being overly cautious with their star wide receiver in a lost season.

With London out expect Kyle Pitts, who is listed as questionable himself, to see an uptick in targets and the offense to run through Bijan Robinson.

DK Metcalf
DK Metcalf Should Be Good To Go Against Miami
19 hours ago

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf is expected to suit up against the Miami Dolphins after dealing with stomach pain.

DK Metcalf didn’t travel with the team back to Pittsburgh after the Steelers 27-22 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Metcalf went to a Baltimore hospital after the game after playing through stomach pain stemming from a hit early in the game.

Despite the stomach pain Metcalf caught seven passes for 148 yards, just his second 100 yard game this season. The Steelers are fighting for the AFC North crown and will count on Metcalf down the stretch.

Metcalf is the Steelers undisputed wide receiver one and with matchups against the Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions secondaries over the next two weeks he’s a strong wide receiver two for the fantasy football playoffs.

Omarion Hampton
Omarion Hampton Scores In Return

Rookie running back Omarion Hampton returned from injured reserve for the Los Angeles Chargers and scored their only touchdown.

The Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 22-19 and Omarion Hampton provided a spark in his return from injured reserve. Hampton caught a touchdown pass early in the game, while also carrying 13 times for 56 yards.

Hampton did split the backfield evenly with Kimani Vidal, who had 14 carries for 44 yards and a big 60 yard catch on the first drive. Justin Herbert completed only 12 passes for just 139 yards, one score and one interception. Herbert did lead the team in rushing yards with 66 yards.

It was a good sign to see Hampton get as much work as he did in his return, expect Vidal to still have a role but both can be effective as a running back two or flex option for fantasy managers.
