The star Buffalo Bills quarterback edges out 2-time MVP winner Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens.
The MVP debate has raged on the last few months centering around Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. Josh Allen has been selected as the MVP over Lamar Jackson with a vote of 27-23 in Allen’s favor.
Statistically, Allen and Jackson had plenty of valid arguments in their respective favor, making the announcement filled with suspense and anticipation. In fantasy football, Lamar Jackson was the QB-1 to Allen’s QB-2 performance on the season. Lamar edged out Allen with 25.1 fantasy points per game to Allen’s 22.6.
Josh Allen was 1st in quarterback rating with a score of 76.7 and 1st in best ball points added with 116.4. Allen threw for 4,367 passing yards and 32 touchdown passes. His 14 rushing touchdowns ranked 2nd for quarterbacks. While the 2025 battle for MVP went in Josh Allen’s favor, the debate and competition will be sure to rage on between Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson backers heading into 2025.
