The Vikings receiver is set to stand trial before a jury over charges related to a July 2024 DUI arrest
Jordan Addison was arrested while asleep behind the wheels of a luxury car late evening in Los Angeles. Aside from Addison’s reputation, nobody was harmed in the incident. At the time of arrest, Addison was charged with a misdemeanor DUI and driving with a BAC of 0.08%. Addison plead not guilty and will make his case heard in front of judge and jury.
While sentencing can vary, if Addison is found guilty the maximum penalty he could see would be up to 6 months in jail, plus fines. The NFL could also suspend Addison for 1-3 games for a first time DUI offense. Of course with a jury trial Addison could also be exonerated and face no legal repercussions, making an NFL suspension also unlikely. If a suspension should occur, the Vikings will rely on veterans Jalen Nailor and T.J. Hockenson to step up, while possibly allowing rookie Tai Felton, who the Vikings drafted in the 3rd round of the 2025 draft.
