Drake London Out Week 9 Due to Groin Injury

Drake London is out Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings due to a groin injury. London suffered the injury in week 8 against the Titans. He was not able to return to the game and missed this entire week of practice. There has been no timetable set for his return.

Taylor Heinicke was named the starter this week which should give this offense a much-needed lift. Losing London will hurt but expect Mack Hollins, Van Jefferson, and Cordelle Patterson to step in and make some plays in the passing game. On the season London has 56 targets with 37 receptions for 438 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Expect Bijan Robinson to be more active in the passing game and Kyle Pitts to be the biggest beneficiary of London’s missing 22.4% target share. The Minnesota Vikings rank 17th against the Tight End position.
