While the New York Giants front office reportedly explored high-capital additions like Arizona Cardinals rookie Jeremiyah Love, current backfield staples Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy remain positioned to command the workload. Skattebo is the “People’s Running Back” and brings a strong all-purpose profile anchored by a 40.7-percent College Dominator Rating (94th percentile) and a 14.4-percent College Target Share (95th percentile), offering substantial upside if his recovery from last season’s ankle injury stays on track.

Reading between the lines, Duggan Skattebo is suggesting that Skattebo is not “elite” enough for the Giants front office, which is mildly concerning. Regardless, a potential veteran signing like free agent Najee Harris would simply serve as an RB3 contingency, leaving Skattebo’s path toward an RB2 finish largely intact. New York will be run-heavy, making Skattebo a nice value in the fourth round of fantasy drafts.
