Buccaneers OC Liam Coen is Now Jaguars Head Coach

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offensive Coordinator Liam Coen is set to become Jaguars Head Coach.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offensive Coordinator Liam Coen is now set to become the Jacksonville Jaguars next Head Coach.  After a wild sequence of events, from Coen having interviews, to withdrawing his name, to becoming one of the highest paid coordinators in the league, and then the Jaguars firing their GM Trent Baalke, Coen is finally now in Jacksonville as their new Head Coach.

For a minute this seemed like it was going to be very familiar to the new Chicago Bears Head Coach Ben Johnson situation last offseason, where Johnson was sought to become a head coach, but Johnson ultimately returned to the Detroit Lions for another season as the Offensive Coordinator.  But due to series of events it’s a different story for Liam Coen, and he is now the Jaguars Head Coach.

For Fantasy purposes, this is a blow for Baker Mayfield and all of the Buccaneers offensive players.  On the other side, this is massive gain for Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars offense.  Also, look for Brian Thomas Jr. to have another big season.
