Matt Miller of ESPN has Jeremiyah Love as the only running back with a 1st round grade for the 2026 NFL Draft

ESPN’s Matt Miller is the top draft analyst for the company. He recently released his top prospects with 1st round grades. Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love is the only running back with a 1st round grade according to Miller. Love was the bellcow back for the Irish, he posted 1,372 rushing yards, 18 rushing touchdowns, along with 27 receptions, 280 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns.

Jeremiyah Love has excellent size at 6’0″ and 214 pounds along the receiving pedigree to be an immediate starter for whoever drafts him. The Kansas City Chiefs are a popular mock destination for Love. Should Love get drafted to the Chiefs he is the favorite for offensive rookie of the year and a potential top 10 running back.

Jeremiyah Love Emerging as the Early Rookie 1.01
2 months ago

Jeremiyah Love is the consensus top rookie pick in all formats.

Jeremiyah Love continues to separate himself as the undisputed top fantasy rookie in the 2026 class, holding the 1.01 ADP in both SuperFlex rookie mock drafts and in the FastDraft Origins tournament. Across all rookie draft formats, Love remains the consensus 1st overall selection.

That confidence is rooted in a dominant final college football season, where Love posted 199 carries for 1,372 rushing yards and 18 rushing TDs, averaging an incredible 6.9 yards per carry and 114.3 yards per game. He also made an impact as a receiver, adding 27 receptions, 280 yards, and 3 TDs through the air. His complete production profile and Heisman finalist campaign have firmly locked Love into the top spot of early rookie draft boards.
