Tyreek Hill Set to Play in Week 1

Miami Dolphins head coach  Mike McDaniel says that Tyreek Hill is on track to play Week 1.

It has been a rocky offseason for Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill. After blasting the team publicly and wanting out of Miami at the end of the 2024 season, he has had to do a lot to make amends with his teammates. Recently, Hill wasn’t voted to be team captain for the first time in his 3-year tenure with the team.

Hill hasn’t practiced the last few weeks due to an oblique and calf injury. Many have suspected that the injury may be a band aid to a deeper problem between Hill and the organization. With McDaniel saying Hill is lining up to play Week 1, those concerns can be quelled momentarily.

The focus now shifts to his Week 1 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Fantasy gamers will be watching closely as his ADP has been suppressed in all formats. Any return to prime form will reap massive rewards for those who roster him. Alternately, any implosion between Hill and the team will have a direct impact on his play. The door isn’t entirely shut on Hill playing for a different team during the 2025 season.
