The New York Giants have officially reunited with 33-year-old wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on a one-year contract after the veteran sat out the entire 2025 season. Beckham profiles as a depth piece rather than a fantasy savior, considering his last 1,000-yard campaign occurred in 2019 and his last active season in 2024 yielded a geriatric 14.1% Target Share with just 9 receptions for 55 yards in Miami.

Beckham fortunately joins a depleted WR room in New York and will immediate compete for targets with Darnell Mooney and Calvin Austin. Once Malik Nabers returns, Beckham will be relegated to a nostalgia piece.

After recently undergoing a knee “clean up” procedure per The Athletic’s Dan Duggan, it is simply not realistic to expect star receiver Malik Nabers to return for the start of training camp. Head coach Harbaugh noted Nabers is working hard daily to recover, though he admitted the injury is complex and the team will have to “see what happens” moving forward.

Due to this ongoing uncertainty, Nabers’ current mid-to-late second-round ADP has not yet fully factored in his injury downside. He is an easy avoid in all formats until more information surfaces about the nature of the knee injury and the progress of his recovery

No big surprise here. While it is encouraging to hear Malik Nabers is setback-free, this statement is a reminder that Nabers is not going to be full-go to start the season.

If the head coach is already admitting that Nabers will likely open camp on the PUP list, then there is a strong possibility that Nabers starts the season on the PUP list for four games before being eased back into action in October. Nabers is a classic redraft sell and dynasty buy.

Not many had Darnell Mooney to New York on their NFL Free Agency bingo card. Mooney’s 27.1% Slot Rate last season positions him to replace the departed Wan’Dale Robinson, while Darius SlaytonIsaiah Hodgins and Calvin Austin have the size and speed respectively to play outside. Mooney’s advanced stats and $10 million salary suggests he will be a primary fixture in the 2026 offense. Mooney’s best ball ADP should rise as Jaxson Dart’s clear WR2 in 2026.

Calvin Austin III of the Pittsburgh Steelers heads into the 2024 fantasy football season with promising potential despite a modest start in 2023. After missing his rookie year due to injury, Austin caught 17 passes for 180 yards and a touchdown in 16 games. He showed improvement as the season progressed and is now vying for a larger role in the Steelers  offense in 2024.

Looking forward, Austin’s potential depends on securing more playing time and a defined role in Pittsburgh’s offense under new leadership. His knack for separating from defenders and drawing penalties offers glimpses of his upside, though concerns about his target share and quarterback stability remain valid. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on Austin’s preseason usage and chemistry with Russell Wilson, as improved integration could boost his fantasy value.

While Austin’s rookie season statistics weren’t great by any means, his determination and offseason preparation suggest room for growth in 2024. Heading into his age-25 season, he presents a speculative yet potentially rewarding option for fantasy owners willing to invest in his speed and potential upside.
