The Indianapolis Colts selected Seth McGowan, a 223-pound back who pairs a scorched-earth 109.7 Speed Score (67th-percentile) with a massive 42.5-inch vertical (98th-percentile). McGowan found success against SEC competition with 12 rushing touchdowns and a solid 28.0% College Dominator Rating.

In dynasty formats, McGowan should be viewed as a potential elite handcuff to Jonathan Taylor, as he will compete with DJ Giddens for the backup role.

Jonathan Taylor’s individual performance on Sunday is something the fans in Berlin will never forget, as the German capital hosted its first-ever NFL game. A back-and-forth game between the Colts and Falcons ended with a Colts overtime win, capped off by a Taylor eight-yard touchdown run.

Taylor finished the day with 244 yards on 32 carries, resulting in three touchdowns. The MVP frontrunner bounced back after a not-so-JT-like performance in Week 9. Taylor is the fourth player in NFL history to record 200 yards rushing and three rushing touchdowns in a game twice in his career. This was his third 200-yard rushing game of his career. Taylor now has 1,113 all-purpose yards and fourteen touchdowns on the season.

Jonathan Taylor continued his hot streak with a 3 touchdown performance versus the division rival Titans. Taylor is the RB1 for the week heading into Sunday Night Football.

Taylor had 2 touchdowns on the ground and 1 on a 19 yard reception. His 153 yards on 12 carries helped propel the Colts to a massive blowout to the tune of 38-14. The Colts are on the road in Week 9 against the Steelers. Fire up Jonathan Taylor with confidence!

Jonathan Taylor is RB2 in fantasy only behind Christian McCaffrey. If you go by only rushing statistics, Taylor is the clear RB1. Against the Chargers, Taylor had 16 carries for 96 yards and 3 touchdowns, along with 3 catches for 38 yards. This makes his season total 697 rushing yards, 11 rushing touchdowns, 23 catches, 185 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. This Colts offense has been nigh unstoppable, a lot of it has to with how dominant Taylor has been. Taylor has helped quarterback Daniel Jones to lead a career resurgence, making this offense one of the most dangerous in the league.

Jonathan Taylor is a league winner, hands down. Even if you do not have Taylor on your roster, you should look into rostering rookie running back DJ Giddens. He is the clear backup to Taylor and will likely have a large role should Taylor go down with an injury. At this point it will have to take the kitchen sink and more to be able to trade for Taylor.

The Indianapolis Colts’ surprising start to the first three weeks of the NFL season has resulted in Jonathan Taylor being the leading candidate for Fantasy MVP. Taylor has 68 touches for 431 total yards and 4 total touchdowns, after dismantling the Titans’ defense on Sunday. His 75.1 total fantasy points lead all players, including quarterbacks, as he’s off to a significantly better start than even his 2021 season, in which he finished as the RB1.

With Daniel Jones behind center, the Colts’ offense has been historically effective. That’s not an overstatement; the offense completed more drives before having to punt than any other team in the sport’s history. They’re currently second in both yards (418.7) and points (34.3) per game and show no signs of slowing down.

The Colts get the Rams, Raiders, and Cardinals the next three weeks. The Rams front-7 will most likely provide Taylor’s biggest test on paper, even though the Cardinals are currently top-5 in the league in rushing defense. Neither team figures to be able to slow down the Colts’ running game the way they’re rolling right now. Taylor will be a top 5 play at the position going forward, regardless of opponent.

Early reports out of Colts’ training camp indicate that fifth-round rookie running back DJ Giddens is solidifying his odds of becoming the RB2 behind Jonathan Taylor. Currently battling with Khalil Herbert and Tyler Goodson for the role, Giddens provided the first big run of the day, cutting back against the grain for an explosive run. Head Coach Shane Steichen says, “he’s kind of a glider, but he’s got good burst, good vision.”

Giddens continued to make plays even if they weren’t flashy. Looking like a natural receiver, he made several catches out of the backfield without a drop. Fantasy managers who own shares of Giddens should be excited about the early camp news, as the Colts are a run-centric team, and any missed time from Taylor will have the backup being a coveted piece in any format.
