Thomas Fidone

The New York Giants selected tight end Thomas Fidone II from Nebraska in the seventh round (Pick 227) of the 2025 NFL Draft.  A former five-star recruit, Fidone faced early career setbacks due to knee injuries but rebounded with a strong finish at Nebraska, totaling 61 receptions for 633 yards and four touchdowns over his final two seasons.  At the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, Fidone showcased elite athleticism among tight ends, posting a 4.70-second 40-yard dash, a 35.5-inch vertical jump, and a 10’6″ broad jump.  His performance at the Senior Bowl further solidified his draft stock, with scouts praising his route running and hands.

While immediate playing time may be limited, Fidone’s athletic profile and developmental potential make him a noteworthy prospect in dynasty fantasy leagues.  Fantasy managers should monitor Fidone’s progress during training camp and the preseason to assess his potential role in the Giants offense.
