Washington will to continue operating as a red zone weapon after signing a 4-year, $42 million extension. His 9.0-percent target share keeps him behind Pat Freiermuth on the target pecking order, but Washington has more TD-upside and contingent value.

If Freiermuth misses games this year, after registering a 51.8-percent route participation rate last season, Washington would be a bigtime fantasy producer with high touchdown equity and big play ability evidenced by a 98th-percentile Athleticism Score. Washington could be a fantasy monster if given the TE1 role, but his block-first role restricts his fantasy utility to deep, tight end premium dynasty leagues.
