Xavier Worthy’s Strong Finish Sets Up Big 2025 Fantasy Outlook for Chiefs WR

As the Kansas City Chiefs head into the Wild Card Weekend with a bye after securing the #1 seed in the AFC, rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy is one to watch in the postseason. Worthy finished his regular season with 59 catches for 638 yards and six touchdowns, emerging as a key piece of the Chiefs’ offense, especially down the stretch. He’s been a playmaker since Week 10, averaging 13.9 fantasy points per game, with his production heating up late in the year. Over his last three games, Worthy posted at least 19.6 PPR fantasy points in each contest, and with an extra week of rest thanks to the Chiefs’ bye, he could be primed to make an impact in the divisional round. For fantasy gamers with eyes on the playoffs, Worthy’s role in the offense should only grow, and he could provide some much-needed firepower for Kansas City as they push for another Super Bowl.

Looking ahead to 2025, there’s plenty of optimism for Worthy’s future in both real-life and fantasy football. As his chemistry with Patrick Mahomes continues to develop, Worthy has the potential to take on an even larger role in the Chiefs’ high-powered offense, especially with fellow wide receiver Rashee Rice set to return from injury. If he continues to build on his late-season surge, Worthy could be knocking on the door of a top-20 Dynasty wide receiver ranking by 2025. With both him and Rice potentially at full strength, the Chiefs’ passing game could be even more dynamic, providing a significant boost to Patrick Mahomes’ fantasy value as he looks to lead the Chiefs to more championships.
