Xavier Worthy Leads Chiefs’ Receivers in Divisional Round Win

In the Chiefs’ 23-14 Divisional Round win over the Houston Texans, rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy was the most productive member of the receiving corps, hauling in five passes for 45 yards. While he wasn’t the focal point of the offense, Worthy finished second in receiving behind Travis Kelce and was the only wide receiver to catch a pass. He also made a notable over-the-shoulder grab early in the game, further highlighting his potential.

Looking ahead to the AFC Championship, Worthy is expected to continue playing a key role in Kansas City’s passing game. While he might not be the top target, his steady presence and connection with Patrick Mahomes could make him a valuable option in deeper leagues or DFS formats. His role could expand depending on matchups against the Ravens or Bills, though he remains more of a secondary option in the Chiefs’ offensive scheme.
