Xavier Worthy’s Breakout Super Bowl Performance & Fantasy Future in 2025

Xavier Worthy was one of the few bright spots for the Chiefs in their tough Super Bowl loss to the Eagles, catching eight passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns. His performance, including a 50-yard touchdown and a 34-yard score, showed off his big-play ability and solidified his place as a key part of the Chiefs’ offense. Worthy’s strong finish to his rookie season, with 768 receiving yards and nine total touchdowns, proved he can be a go-to target for Patrick Mahomes moving forward, especially with Travis Kelce not performing at his usual level this season.

Looking ahead to next season, there’s a lot to be excited about for Worthy’s fantasy outlook. His connection with Mahomes is strong, and with Kelce potentially taking a step back, Worthy could see more opportunities. That said, the return of Rashee Rice from injury could shake things up and affect his role in 2025. Still, after finishing strong this year, Worthy is definitely a player to keep an eye on for fantasy gamers looking for a big-play threat in Kansas City.
