Xavier Worthy’s AFC Championship Dominance: Bills Likely Regret the Trade

Xavier Worthy had a breakout game in the AFC Championship, catching six passes for 85 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs’ 32-29 victory over the Bills. His 11-yard touchdown and several key grabs throughout the game were crucial in sending Kansas City to their third-straight Super Bowl. Worthy likely had a bit of extra motivation, considering the Bills traded away the 28th pick in the 2024 draft, allowing the Chiefs to scoop him up. In a high-pressure game like that, Worthy showed he’s already one of Patrick Mahomes’ most reliable targets, and he’s proving he’s here to stay.

Looking ahead, Worthy’s future looks bright, both for Super Bowl LVII and fantasy football. He’s already proving to be a major asset for Mahomes, and with the Chiefs facing the Eagles, expect Worthy to continue making big plays. With a full season under his belt, he’s set to take another step forward next year. As he builds on his chemistry with Mahomes, Worthy could easily emerge as one of the top fantasy receivers, and the Bills might end up regretting passing on him in the draft.
