The Miami Dolphins and wide receiver Tyreek Hill agreed to restructure his current contract which could be worth $90 million with $65 million guaranteed over the next three years.
The Dolphins kept their elite wide receiver a happy camper with this agreement. After the recent contract extensions of several top receivers in the game Tyreek Hill gets to lay claim to the highest guaranteed total ever for a contract at $106.5 million. No additional years were added to the contract.
Since joining the Dolphins two years ago, Hill has been targeted by an astonishing 341 times. Hill has averaged 119 receptions, 1,755 yards, and 10 touchdowns per season during that stretch. This torrid pace will continue this Fall.
If you want to secure the Cheetah’s service you better hope you have a Top-3 pick in re-draft leagues, because if not he will be gone. Hill is currently going third overall in fantasy drafts. In terms of dynasty leagues, if you are a contender, Hill will surely be one of the ride-and-die players to lead you to a championship at season’s end. Should you be a team with no chance at a dynasty title, look to deal Hill soon and try to get multiple first-round rookie picks since the veteran receiver is getting up there in age and could be an injury away from losing his breakaway speed.
