Tyler Lockett
Tyler Lockett Lands in Tennessee

The Tennessee Titans are signing Tyler Lockett to a cheap 1 year deal.

It should be strange seeing the 32-year-old veteran in new colors next season. Lockett has been a perennial fixture in Seattle over the last decade, amassing 661 receptions for more than 8500 yards and 61 touchdowns in his 10-year career. The Titans are bringing him in, hoping he can be a reliable target for rookie first-overall pick Cam Ward.

The Seahawks legend saw his string of six straight seasons with at least 50 catches, 800 yards, and five touchdowns end in 2024, and it will be interesting to see how much juice he has left in the tank. Tennessee is notorious as a spot where once-great wide receivers go to see their fantasy value die (see Randy Moss, Andre Johnson, Julio Jones, DeAndre Hopkins, etc.).

Coming off a down year, now paired with a rookie QB in an uninspiring offensive system, a 2025 renaissance for Tyler Lockett and fantasy owners seems like a shaky bet. The volume will likely be there, though he may now have to compete for slot snaps with Xavier Restrepo, who joined the team as an undrafted free agent.
