Here we go. Tucker Kraft has publicly stated that he would be ready for Week 1 and play without a pitch count, though an initial stint on the PUP list remains expected to start training camp following his Week 9 ACL tear. With training camp upon us, Kraft is suddenly reticent to make any playing status commitments.

Before the injury, Kraft logged high-end efficiency metrics, posting a +39.0-percent Target Premium (No. 2) and 2.56 Yards Per Route Run (No. 2) while averaging 14.7 Fantasy Points Per Game. Monitor his practice reps throughout August to confirm his readiness, but assume Kraft will either open the season on the short-term IR or be eased back slowly. Luke Musgrave would start if Kraft is unable to play in September.
