Trevor Lawrence Signs a 5-Year Extension with Jacksonville

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence signs a 5-year extension worth $275 million, with $200 million guaranteed.

The former number 1 overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft Trevor Lawrence will stay in Jacksonville after signing a 5-year extension worth $275 million with $200 million guaranteed. Lawrence had a rocky start to his career after Urban Meyer’s horrendous but thankfully short lived tenure as head coach. This is an excellent deal for both player and team, as they can continue to grow with Lawrence.

Lawrence’s own injuries along with his offensive line had hamstrung his production last season. With the new investments in the offensive line and at wide receiver, look for Lawrence to have his best season yet. A top ten season is in the cards for the former Clemson Tiger. Lawrence is an absolute steal ranking QB14 in ADP. I expect that to creep up closer to top 10 as the season’s kick off nears. Lawrence is a QB to target in all formats.
