Jets GM Darren Mougey says that the team will pick up wide receiver Garrett Wilson’s 5th-year option.
Garrett Wilson will be staying in New York for the foreseeable future. Jets General Manager Darren Mougey told reporters that the Jets will be exercising the 5th-year team option to keep Garrett Wilson in New York.
Amid frustrations with how the Jets fate has played out the last 2 seasons, Wilson has been rumored to want a trade away from the team. There has been no recent buzz about Garrett Wilson wanting a trade and part of that can be attributed to the fact that new head coach Aaron Glenn has decided to move on from the Aaron Rodgers era.
Garrett Wilson has been reunited with his college quarterback Justin Fields and will look to build off of his WR-10 and 101 reception performance in 2025. Wilson is being drafted in the early 3rd round on Underdog as WR-15.
