Terry McLaurin is a rich man and the Washington Commanders are ready to make a Super Bowl run. The Commanders wide receiver has been holding in for a new contract throughout the duration of training camp.
Deadlines spur action, and that is exactly what happened. McLaurin will make up to $96 million on a 3-year extension. With 13 more days until their home opener versus the New York Giants, star quarterback Jayden Daniels will have his top target back in the fold. With Deebo Samuel joining the Commanders, the team is looking to push through and challenge the Philadelphia Eagles both for the division title and on through to the Super Bowl. The Eagles defeated the Commanders in last year’s NFC Championship 55-23.
Expect McLaurin to carry in some rust for the early part of the season. His ADP on Underdog is in the middle of round 4. Drafters can be at ease knowing that the Commanders are heading into the season with their No.1 wideout!
