Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins has been ruled OUT week 5 at Arizona.
The Cincinnati Bengals season has got off to a less than encouraging start. Coming off a embarrassing performance last week against the Tennessee Titans the Bengals offense will be looking to bounce back. Unfortunately they will have to attempt that bounce back without star WR Tee Higgins who has been ruled OUT with a rib injury.
Tee Higgins suffered fractured ribs last week and only logged a Friday practice. The practice Friday gave some hope to Higgins fantasy owners that he would play but ultimately the team ruled him OUT. The Bengals elevated WR Kwamie Lassiter II from their practice squad today as well in response to Higgins being out and fellow WR, rookie Charlie Jones being placed on IR with a thumb injury.
Higgins being out with fractured ribs and Charlie Jones being placed on IR further condenses an already condensed target share. Tyler Boyd will see the largest increase in usage due to Higgins injury. Superstar WR Ja’Marr Chase already with a 28.7% target share stands to see even more force fed his way as he is unquestionably the teams best player and has been asking for more. The Arizona Cardinals have fought hard early this season, but with Cincinnati coming off multiple let down performances on offense this week is make or break, and the Cardinals D will be broken to pieces by Cincinnati this week. The blow up game for Chase is here.
