The newly acquired Patriots veteran receiver was seen without a brace at practice, just 7 months after the ACL tear that ended his 2025 season
Stefon Diggs isn’t guaranteed to be ready for his first game as a Patriot, however his practice participation is a great sign of this being a possibility. Diggs really took his career to another level for three years in Buffalo, finishing as a top 10 receiver in fantasy points per game and building on 6 consecutive 1000 yard seasons. After just a half season with Houston, Diggs will now be looking to get back to elite production in the back end of his career.
New England is desperate for receiver help, and really any offensive talent for that matter. The team finished dead last in passing yards and second to last in passing touchdowns in the NFL last season. Drake Maye will have a year under his belt now, and the offense landed Stefon Diggs and TreVeyon Henderson, plus O-line help in both free agency and the draft. Diggs could be a true spark plug for this franchise turnaround. As long as his health permits, he should be the primary focus of the passing attack – don’t be surprised if he has a season reminiscent of his time with Josh Allen.
