Saquon Barkley looks to celebrate birthday with Super Bowl victory

Saquon Barkley looks to end his historic postseason run with a Super Bowl victory on his birthday.

Saquon Barkley has etched his name into the playoff record books.  Barkley has the record for the highest per-carry average amongst running backs with at least 50 carries.  He and Terrell Davis are the only players in NFL history to accumulate 400 yards rushing and 5 tds in a postseason.  With another 100-yard performance in the Super Bowl, he will join Terrell Davis and John Riggins as the only players to have a 100-yard performance in every game in a single postseason.

Saquon will turn 28 on February 9th, the date of the Super Bowl.  His historic performance in the regular and postseason is the engine that drove the Philadelphia Eagles to New Orleans for a date with the two-time defending Super Bowl champs, the Kansas City Chiefs.  If Philadelphia is going to stop the Chiefs from making history, they will need Saquon to make some of his own.

Saquon has a rushing prop set at 110.5 for the Super Bowl.   If he hits that line, it would be the first time under Steve Spagnuolo that the Chiefs have allowed a 100-yard rusher in the playoffs.  Saquon has gone over in every game this postseason.  Something has to give, and it is one of the most exciting storylines to follow in Super Bowl 59.
