The New Orleans Saints have signed wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
The New Orleans Saints have added wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to a one-year deal. The Saints wide receiver room took a hit last week when Rashid Shaheed injured his knee and will now miss the rest of the season, also Chris Olave is recovering from a concussion. With Shaheed set to miss the rest of season, they will miss the field stretcher but hope that Valdes-Scantling can help replace him. Valdes-Scantling signed with Buffalo Bills this offseason but was let go after Bill after they acquired Amari Cooper last week from Cleveland Browns.
As for Valdes-Scantling fantasy outlook is to be the same as what it was for Bills non relevant. So far this season he has 2 catches for 26 yards. One may look towards Bud Means as a replacement for this Saints offense.
