The 49ers offense played well on the backs of quarterback Mac Jones and tight end George, unfortunately the Rams played better.
Christian McCaffrey is typically the man carrying the 49ers offense on his back week in and week out. This week quarterback Mac Jones and tight end George Kittle were essentially unstoppable. Jones completed 33 of 39 passes for 339, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. George Kittle had 9 catches for 84 yards and a touchdown. Sadly the Rams and Matthew Stafford destroyed the Niners defense.
Mac Jones has played very well stepping in for the injured Brock Purdy. While Jones doesn’t have much value in redraft when Purdy comes back, Jones is a sneaky buy for dynasty. Some team is going to sign Jones as a starter next year, he has earned it. George Kittle is still a top tight end in both real life and fantasy. This Niners offense is still potent despite all the injuries.
