Ladd McConkey left Week 1’s season opener vs the Cardinals with less than a minute left in the 3rd quarter with a chest injury. Ladd had been awesome up to that point, earning targets on 39% of his routes while having 5 catches, 82 yards and a touchdown.

While the team officially labeled it a chest injury, that often means it is a rib injury. Head Coach Jim Harbaugh did not have an update in the post-game press conference. Fantasy football manager’s will need to keep an eye on Ladd updates for an official prognosis, as the offense looked pretty lost after he left the game in a stunning loss to the Cardinals. If he is out for any period of time, Quentin Johnston and Tre Harris would be the primary beneficiaries, but Justin Herbert would take a hit.
