The former New York Giants first round draft pick was arrested in Georgia on multiple charges, including aggravated assault-strangulation and obstructing/harassing 911 calls.
According to the arrest warrant, on January 14th Kadarius Toney put his hand around a women throat with enough force for her to be unable to breath. Toney also prevented the woman from calling 911 by taking away her phone and cancelling voice commands while continuing to assault her. Toney was released on a $50,000 bail the same day.
Toney flamed out as a 2021 early first round pick for the Giants and was released after only 2 seasons. He went on to play an uninspiring 2 years in Kansas City and eventually was cut from the Cleveland Browns after only playing 3 games for them this season. Toney has only accumulated 116 catches for 760 yards in 4 years in the league, given his lack of character and lack of production, his NFL days are likely behind him.
